These are not contradictory. God loves the world so much He seeks to save it from its moral corruption. God is not corrupted by the world and not in a state of friendship with it, we are when we live by it's nature. Nature creates an ordered arrangement. Our animal nature is in direct contradiction to respecting God's gift of life and liberty.
