Amid row over same-sex blessings, Pope laments โ€˜splitting into groupsโ€™ in the Church

Jan 6, 2024

ROME โ€“ Pope Francis on the feast of the Epiphany lamented the sharp division among Catholics of differing views, saying believers must imitate the three wise men in putting God at the center of their lives, rather than their own ideas of the faith.

Speaking to attendees of his Jan. 6 Mass in St. Peterโ€™s Basilica, the pope said that as members of the church, โ€œinstead of splitting into groups based on our own ideas, we are called to put God back at the center.โ€

Entain included Antarctica and Vatican City on exit list in compliance drive

January 6 2024

Antarctica and Vatican City are among the list of more than 140 unregulated gambling territories that Entain said it had exited in a frequently cited statistic to show how the Ladbrokes owner had cleaned up its business, according to an internal document.

The London-listed bookmaker was not generating any revenues in these two territories in the run-up to closure, according to internal estimates, but they were nevertheless included in a list of areas from which Entain committed to withdraw as there was no path to domestic gambling regulation.

God mandates a division between right and wrong, light and dark. There is no getting around the moral issue. There is right and there is wrong and humans did not define what that difference is. Darkness, literally, is the invisible enemy. People either love righteousness or love wickedness. There's no middle ground. Religions were made by men doing things demons told them to do. God, on the other hand, established The Way of Life.

And itโ€™s very much part of the trial of Cardinal Angelo Becciu."

McCarrick is facing misdemeanor sexual assault charges in Wisconsin related to an incident that allegedly occurred in April 1977 near a house by Geneva Lake. The complaint alleges that McCarrick and โ€œanother adult maleโ€ sexually assaulted then-18-year-old James Grein, the same man who brought a complaint against the former cardinal in Massachusetts.

Because the Vatican is a spiritual battle. We The People. Politics won't bring down religion. But God's people will bring it down. The Pope really fucked upโ€ฆ and the world noticed.. it's not going well for Vatican City nor Romeโ€ฆ Everyone is waking up, even Catholics.. It's a spiritual war. Theocracy shills on X, have you seen them? "OMG" โ€ฆYeah, the anti-christ, theocratic global state narrative. Either way, God wins so no need to despair, right? We are here, winning - not losing. See the wins for what they are and don't trade Hope for despair.
