High School Girls Basketball Game in New York Cancelled After Antisemitic Slurs Hurled at Jewish Players-“I Support Hamas, You F’ing Jew”

On Thursday, a girl’s basketball game between The Leffell School, a private Jewish school in Hartsdale, and Roosevelt High School, a public school in Yonkers, was canceled in the third quarter after players from Roosevelt hurled antisemitic slurs at their Jewish opponents.

According to The New York City Public Schools Alliance, a Roosevelt player said to one opponent, “I support Hamas, you f–-ing Jew.”

In an op-ed for The Lion’s Roar, a student-run newspaper at Leffell, senior player Robin Bosworth shared the details of the disgusting display by the Roosevelt players in her piece, “Antisemitism at the Girls Varsity Basketball Game.”

Florida Teacher Facing Federal Charges After Making at Least 28 Sex Tapes With 8th-Grade Student

A teacher in Orange County, Florida, is facing federal charges after the parents of an 8th-grade student found 28 sex videos of them together on his phone.

The teacher, Marie-Jo Gordo, was indicted on three counts of sexually exploiting a minor on Wednesday. The jury determined that she “(enticed) a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct” and then “(produced) a visual depiction of such conduct.”

The Orlando Sentinel reports, “Federal investigators said the student’s parents found video of Marie-Jo Gordo and their underage son, whom she taught in 2019, having sex in what appeared to be vehicles and hotel rooms throughout Central Florida. The videos were taken between June and September of 2023 and three were described in court filings.”

At least one of the videos was over 13 minutes long.

According to court records obtained by WESH, the sex crimes happened in hotel rooms “throughout Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.”

In September, the student’s parents reported the videos to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The parents provided the phone to the sheriff’s office for review, and they determined that many of the videos were taken from Gordo’s phone and sent to the boy.

“The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the boy, who was identified in records only as ‘CV’ and confirmed to detectives that he and Gordo had been seeing each other,” the report states.

Gordo was initially arrested in October.

In addition to being his teacher, Gordo was also the boy’s “religious ambassador,” according to the complaint obtained by the Sentinel.

BNN reports, “Gordo had resigned from her teaching position at an Orange County school in June and had assumed a new role as an art teacher at another school.”

Hezbollah Strikes Israel Intel Base With 60+ Rockets As "Initial Response" To Hamas Leader Assassination

Hezbollah on Saturday initiated what it announced as "an initial response" to Israel's assassination by drone of Hamas deputy chief Saleh al-Arouri, which happened in a south Beirut neighborhood last week.

The Lebanese paramilitary group backed by Iran unleashed large salvos of missiles that bombarded military bases as well as communities in northern Israel (many of which have long been evacuated), triggering alert sirens among some 90 towns and settlements.

The Hezbollah statement declared that the assault was "part of the initial response to the crime of assassinating the great leader Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri."

The Israel Defense Forces in a follow-up statement said some 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Mount Meron area in particular, which contains a crucial IDF base which reportedly has overseen Israeli operations against Syria.

Hezbollah indicated it launched 62 "various types of missiles" against the Meron air control base as part of Saturday's retaliatory attacks, however, Israel said there were no casualties in the aftermath.

California to provide free sex changes for illegal immigrants

Some 700,000 illegal aliens will now be able to avail of hormone treatment and gender reassignment

As of last week, California’s taxpayer-funded healthcare system now covers sex changes for illegal immigrants, thanks to legislation recently signed by Governor Gavin Newsom. The cost of the program is expected to top $3 billion.

California became the first state in the US to provide health insurance to all adults regardless of immigration status on January 1, when legislation signed by Newsom last summer came into effect. Approximately 700,000 illegal immigrants will now have their healthcare covered by the state’s taxpayer-funded Medi-Cal insurance system, according to a press release from State Senator Maria Elena Durazo in May.

Among the procedures covered by Medi-Cal are hormone therapy and gender transition surgery, according to a report this week by the Daily Caller, a conservative news outlet.

“Gender affirming care is a covered Medi-Cal benefit when medically necessary,” a 2022 state memo cited by the outlet states. “Requests for gender affirming care should be from specialists experienced in providing culturally competent care to transgender and gender diverse individuals and should use nationally recognized guidelines.”

According to the Transgender Law Center, Medi-Cal should cover “hormone treatment, gender reassignment surgery, and other necessary procedures.”

Newsom’s expansion of the Medi-Cal program will cost California taxpayers an estimated $3.1 billion, according to an Associated Press report from last year. Republican lawmakers criticized the expansion even before it emerged that it would cover transgender surgery, but their criticism turned to ridicule in recent days.

“California is now paying for illegal aliens to get sex changes,” Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. “There’s no punchline to this tweet. California is the punchline.”

Newsom has defended the decision to add 700,000 more patients to the program. “In California, we believe everyone deserves access to quality, affordable health care coverage – regardless of income or immigration status,” his office told ABC News. “Through this expansion, we’re making sure families and communities across California are healthier, stronger, and able to get the care they need when they need it.”

Unsealed court filings over accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein named over a hundred of rich and powerful people connected to the billionaire pedophile — including former US President Bill Clinton and his aide Doug Band.

Ironically, back in 2003, Doug Band helped kick off now-famous Clinton Foundation international initiatives with the aim of rehabilitating Bill's post-presidential image, marred by sex scandals, and turning the ex-president into "the world’s philanthropist in chief," writes Vanity Fair.

The Wall Street analyst is highly skeptical about the Clintons' new joint endeavor with the Zelenskys, who have also been mired in corruption allegations.

"By the time Hillary Clinton commenced work with Ukraine's First Lady, the Clinton family had more than twenty years of experience breaking key charity laws, especially in New York City and State which, to date, have targeted Donald Trump and his family for charity frauds, but allowed Clinton charity frauds to expand in scope, scale, and international breadth," Ortel told Sputnik.

"In fact, 'Clinton Global Initiative' and 'The Clinton Foundation' have not complied with laws concerning 'public charities'," the Wall Street analyst continued. "These laws require that such entities be controlled by truly independent boards of directors, bar creation of 'private gain' through their operation, and forbid partisan political activities."

Israeli strike kills two Palestinian journalists in Gaza, officials say

The Israel Defence Forces did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the strike or on the TV network's allegation that the two journalists had been deliberately targetted.

An Israeli air strike on a car near Rafah in southern Gaza on Sunday killed two Palestinian journalists who were out reporting, according to health officials in Gaza and the journalists' union there.

Hamza Al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya were both freelancers. Al-Dahdouh had done freelance work for Al Jazeera and was the son of the Qatar-based TV station's chief correspondent in Gaza, Wael Al-Dahdouh. A third freelancer, Hazem Rajab, was wounded.

Al Jazeera Media Network condemned the killing of the two and said it had been a deliberate attack.

Ukraine shells Donetsk hospital on Christmas Eve

Ukrainian forces launched multiple attacks against civilian targets in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Saturday, with one of the strikes damaging a hospital, according to local authorities.

At least three people were injured when a shell hit the Central Clinical Hospital No. 6 in the Leninsky district of Donetsk, according to the city's Joint Center for Control and Coordination. All of the victims were patients at the facility. The attack also damaged several houses in other parts of Donetsk, with witnesses calling it a “Christmas miracle” that no one was seriously injured.

Photos and videos from the scene show the aftermath of the explosion, with windows shattered and glass shards and broken blinds scattered throughout the hospital.

UK gathering secret ‘Trump dossier’ – reports

British officials are said to have learned lessons from their failure to predict the billionaire’s win in 2016

Senior UK officials are compiling a dossier on former US President Donald Trump in anticipation of his potential victory in the 2024 election, which could cause turmoil on the global stage, inews reported on Friday.

The website claimed, citing unnamed sources, that the Foreign Office is spearheading the campaign to compile an assessment of the 45th US president’s stance on “key issues affecting the UK, such as the Ukraine crisis, the Middle East and international trade.” Britain’s ambassador to Washington, Karen Pierce, is said to be the main figure leading the effort.

According to inews, UK Conservative party officials worry that if Trump beats incumbent Joe Biden, he could “chuck a massive grenade into global geopolitics.” One unnamed official told the outlet that Trump’s reelection “absolutely makes an enormous difference” as the UK has become more dependent on America’s stance on global affairs since Brexit.

“Trump will come in, and he will choose a more aggressive line on, for example, Iran. We will be forced into more situations that we are instinctively uncomfortable about,” the source added, as quoted by inews.

The report also suggested that Britain had drawn conclusions from Trump’s win in 2016 and would not underestimate him again. “I suspect they will be saying, ‘We screwed it up last time…’ I think there will be fierce activity, contact-building, and trying to be in the room,” a source said.

Several recent polls have suggested that the former president – widely considered to be the Republican frontrunner for the nomination – is leading Biden. A November New York Times and Siena College survey also found that the incumbent was trailing Trump in five battleground states.

Regarding Trump’s views on foreign policy, he suggested that he would end the Ukraine conflict within hours if elected while criticizing Biden’s handling of the crisis. He is also known for his hawkish stance on Iran, which plays an important role in the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel.

Under Trump, the US and the UK sought to maintain their “special relationship” dating back to WWII, but his tenure was marred by several major scandals between the two countries. In 2019, the ex-president called then-UK ambassador to Washington Kim Darroch a “very stupid guy” after British media published memos where the envoy allegedly doubted that the Trump administration could become “less dysfunctional.”

IRAQI RESISTANCE ANNOUNCE ATTACKS ON ISRAELI-OCCUPIED GOLAN HEIGHTS, TWO U.S. BASES

On January 7, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), an umbrella group of Iranian-backed armed factions, announced that it had attacked the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights as well as two bases of the United States military in Iraq and Syria.

The group said in a statement that it had struck a “military target” in the Golan Heights with “suitable weapons,” without elaborating.

Hebrew media didn’t report any warning sirens or blasts in the Golan and the Israeli Defense Forces didn’t announce any attack on the Heights.

In two other statements, the IRI said it had attacked U.S. bases near the town of Qasraq in the northeastern Syrian governorate of al-Hasakah and Ain al-Asad Air Base in the western Iraqi province of al-Anbar, which hosts American troops, with drones.

The attacks were an act of “resistance” against “U.S. occupation” and a response to “Israeli massacres” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the IRI noted in its three statements.

The IRI announced two attacks against the Golan Heights before and claimed responsibility for dozens of attacks on U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria since October 17, ten days after the outbreak of the war in Gaza.

The U.S. responded by targeting some of the group’s factions in both Iraq and Syria. Israel didn’t announce any retaliatory attacks. However, it was unofficially blamed for some strikes which were not claimed by the U.S. military, including one that targeted a truck near the town of al-Bukamal in the eastern Syrian governorate of Deir Ezzor on January 7.

Benjamin Levin was consistent and “realistic” in his descriptions of sexual assault of children during online chats and never once stressed that it was all for fantasy, the Crown argued during day two of his sentencing hearing on child porn charges.

Crown counsel Allison Dellandrea read aloud several extremely graphic chat exchanges the former Ontario deputy minister of education had with undercover officers he believed were submissive mothers interested in having sex with their own children.

The 63-year-old married father of three repeatedly and consistently claimed to have had sex with his own daughters, starting at age 12 (though, as he told one of the officers, “I wish we’d started younger.”).

Levin — who was a member of Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne’s transition team — has pleaded guilty to the making of written child pornography, possession of child pornography and counseling to commit sexual assault on a child. He has not been charged with actually carrying out a sexual assault on a child.

But the Crown worked hard to convince Justice Heather McArthur that through his persona as a “master, or even a mentor” on adult “alternative sexual lifestyle” incest chat rooms, he had significant influence in counseling to commit.

Dellandrea asked the judge to consider a prison sentence of 3 1/2 years — one for the making child pornography charge, six months for possession and two for the more serious counsel to commit. Defence is asking for just two years in prison.
