Loyde Austin was missing for a bunch of days and no one even noticed . . . so there is that too.
The storm wasn't that big a deal. It was over hyped and it's not a 'major Winter storm' it's more like a normal Winter day.
but the news says it's a giant storm and upto a foot of snow.
but guess what: New England is used to that.
it's just that it's been a while.
and so the hype is still going on, and mostly the weather is going clear up in just a few hours.
sure it got heavy because it turned to rain for a while. So that means you have to go out and shovel the snow bank as soon as the plow dumps it or you'll end up with a solid block of ice. Well, I shouldn't say 'as soon as' because I let the first plow pass lay on the street for a while (it was early morning).
but it was what is called 'heart attack snow' meaning that the water laden snow was very very heavy. The snow banks were almost ice.
over hyped and not a big deal!
