I understand your sentiment, it comes from suffering, and that suffering is deemed needless. I think part of why this is taking longer than expected is because when you have an infestation, even if you were warned about it, it still takes a shaking to see what comes out from the wall. An then you'll realize, you were only seeing a portion of the infestation.
