Q…..tomorrow (July 4) is my birthday and all I want is for you to get a message to POTUS. Farmers are being attacked fiercely in Eastern NC. 471 people have filed suit against farmers for being a nuisance. The venue was changed for the first trial to Raleigh. The judge was brought out of retirement. All black plaintiffs who were targeted by an out of state lawyer. Too many details to post here but we’ve been calling the WH. What will happen is bacon will be about $20 per pound if any is even available. This will devastate NC. Pease help us!!!! I’ve been following since December and I truly believe in POTUS. Please pray!!!
I’m sorry you feel that way. This is not hurting Smithfield. This will hurt every individual farmer and will have a ripple effect. I do like the way hogs used to be raised because that how my family raised them. Unfortunately there are not enough farmers to raise animals that way to economically feed our nation. I know how to raise food. My family will survive. But how many will starve?
