Foodborne illness caused by parasites or virus usually take longer than that to present. Sounds like staph bacteria. Unsure ivermectin will help much. Unless it is super severe and you can't hold liquids down after 12 hours, I would give it till tomorrow to decide to medicate. Hydrate.
