Did you know that Jews actually do believe that a messiah (christ) exists, but it is not Jesus?
Did you know that the term chosen people does not mean that they are superior to others? It means that they were chosen to spread the word outside the community?
I think it depends upon the sect in question, and also tge depth of study of the Torah.
There are many, many Christian sects or denominations who are absolutely certain that their belief system is the one true belief. That lends to a feeling of superiorty based
upon interpretation of scripture.
