last night someone tried to pan off a 'tweet' as real with a fake name, and I pointed it out.
then the person said 'what does it matter'
but no sauce was ever provided.
no one is named as the person in that supposed screen cap. It's just fake, all the way.
there is plenty about that guy that is off, and you can critque him all day all night and have a lot to say.
posting him side by side like that is just defaming and not particularly funny.

oh, the bad pun.
I noticed a very bad pun as a head line.
it had a person who was murdered and her name was 'wong' and the headline said
so-and-so arrested for killing so-and-so (her last name).
and I thought 'but doing that, there is never any right way to do it' and I thought
tasteless. I can't post this. It's mean.
It's a real person who was (alledgedly) killed by her boyfriend. It uses langauge that apes a speaking style of a orientals for a cheep effect . . . wrong in so many ways.
It's a real story out of San Francisco.

for me the punch line is 'There is no right way to murder someone' and even that's not really funny considering that it's a woman who really has the name that makes the headline into a bad pun (it's at SF-GATE)
it obviates the control of the board being run by a certain type of very scared and accusatory person.
the behavior of censoring it actually in some ways feeds the flames of that which they are trying to control.
