U.S. strikes Houthi target threatening Red Sea vessels

U.S. forces Saturday morning fired on a site under the control of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen that they said was threatening maritime travel through the Red Sea.

The attacks comes one day after U.S. and UK forces launched a joint assault on the militants, who have been harassing shipping in the critical waterway and forcing U.S. ships to intercept their missile launches.

Associated Press journalists reported hearing a single explosion Saturday morning. Prior to the strike, the U.S. warned commercial vessels to avoid the Red Sea for 72 hours.

The Houthis are one of three primary factions in the ongoing Yemeni Civil War and control a swath of territory along the Red Sea coast. U.S. national security advisor Jake Sullivan in December warned that the U.S. would take "appropriate action" in response to Houthi aggression.

Expert investor and Canadian businessman Kevin O’Leary recently appeared on CNN and poured cold water all over the Letitia James case against Trump.

O’Leary explained to the host that what Trump is accused of doing is standard operating procedure in the world of real estate development and that this goes on every single day.

He makes it clear that if you remove the political aspect of the case, it’s a giant nothing burger.

Wind and solar are said to be cheaper, but utilities keep asking for higher rates from consumers

"Green" energy proponents and the media have claimed that solar and wind generation are "now cheaper than gas, oil or coal, and renewables now account for 15% of power generation, a three-fold increase over 7 years. Yet, utilities have this month filed rate increase requests across the country.

It’s often reported that wind and solar are the cheapest energy sources available. In the U.S, between 2015 and 2022, wind and solar increased from 5.6% of the electricity produced to nearly 15%. If wind and solar are so cheap, this three-fold increase should have produced a wave of reports of falling electricity rates across the country. Instead, we’ve seen the exact opposite.

Zuckerberg beefs up again

The billionaire has announced his decision to become a rancher, only to immediately face backlash from animal and climate activists

Meta founder, Chairman and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has announced that he has become a rancher. The billionaire revealed his new passion project in an Instagram post on Wednesday, to a typically mixed reaction.

Zuckerberg said he has begun raising cattle at his Ko’olau Raunch, a multi-million-dollar compound in Kauai, Hawaii, in order to create “some of the highest quality beef in the world.” The billionaire said he will breed wagyu and angus cows, feeding them macadamia nuts and beer produced at the ranch.

JUST IN… Elon Musk Rips Mark Zuckerberg For Funding Illegal Voting Vans in 2020 Election

On Friday Elon Musk was attacked by smart-mouth leftist who objected to Elon’s recent comments on the suspicious rules and irregularities in US elections.

Leftist Yann LeCun posted, “You know Elon, properly-run social networks do their best to take down misinformation about elections.”

That’s when Elon dunked on Yann and tech tyrant Mark Zuckerberg.

Elon Musk: “Funny you should mention “properly-run” social networks. Are you aware that Mark Zuckerberg, presumably a “proper-runner” of social networks, funded illegal voting vans in the last election?”

Elon Musk was pointing to the recent ruling in Wisconsin that the absentee Scooby voting vans are now illegal. The illegal voting vans were funded by Mark Zuckerberg and his far left wife.

Local FOX59 reported:

A Wisconsin judge has ruled that state law does not allow the use of mobile absentee voting sites, siding with Republicans who had challenged Racine’s use of a voting van that traveled around the city in 2022.

Republicans opposed the use of the van, the only one of its kind in Wisconsin, saying its use was against the law, increased the chances of voter fraud and was used to bolster Democratic turnout.

Racine officials, the Democratic National Committee and the Milwaukee-based voting advocacy group Black Leaders Organizing for Communities refuted those claims and defended the legality of the van, saying there was no specific prohibition against it.

The lawsuit over the mobile voting van is one of several in battleground Wisconsin that could affect voting rules in the upcoming presidential election.

The van was first used in Racine’s municipal elections in 2022. It was purchased with grant money Racine received from the Center for Tech and Civic Life, the nonprofit created by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife.
