That post was beyond strange to begin with, very oddly constructed. I don't feel like that particular statement meant anything more than Trump = MAGA. Vivek =/= Trump/MAGA.
He might not pick him for VP, but he certainly can - and I (personally) don't think there are many better for the role.
I like Luna, she is one of the few other choices Trump could make, that I think would be apt for the role.
