I support the death penalty for crimes of 1st degree murder, pedophilia, crimes against humanity ie……….mass murder. I also support the death penalty for those that betray their country for profit, aiding and abetting and giving support to our enemies and putting our nation at risk.
I do not and will not accept your gratuitious premise that the death penalty is "good" or that a populace is trained to adore it.
This fight is between good and evil. Evil deserves no quarter. I am wondering if you would have the same mindset towards this issue if your wife was brutally raped and murdered, your little girl or boy was raped and murdered, or any beloved family member was a victim of this kind of depravity? Justice demands that a person who cannot function as a contributor to a civil society and the rules and laws we ourselves set to guide this civil society and who instead, only exist to bring pain and despair to innocent people by and through henious acts they commit, deserve nothing less.
We're done anon. I'm not going to argue with you about this. I stand where I stand and that is it. You have the right to see this in the way you do and I support your right to do so even if you are damn wrong about it. Hope you never have to be faced with the loss of a loved one at the hands of a person who gave no more thought to your wife, child's life then they did to an insect before they step on it and kill it.
