On Tuesday, the office of Senator Chuck Grassley, the 90-year-old Iowa Republican who has served in the Senate since 1981, revealed in a statement that the elder stateman has been hospitalized with an infection. Senator Grassley is the oldest member of Congress after Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) passed away last year.

According to CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju, Grassley's office explained that the elderly Republican "is receiving antibiotic infusions at an area hospital to treat an infection. He is in good psirits and will return to work as soon as possible following doctors' orders."

According to TMZ, Hogan, his wife, and a friend saw a car accident take place in Clearwater, Florida, on Sunday night. TMZ claims a car erratically swerved to switch lanes to make a missed exit, but that vehicle clipped another car that flipped over.

Hogan’s vehicle pulled over immediately, and Hogan and his friend ran over to help the driver. Hogan’s party was first on the scene, so they also helped the woman get out of the car. More details about the incident saw Hogan’s friend, Jake (who was later identified as a Marine), pop the woman’s airbag, and he and Hulk unbuckled her and safely helped her out of the car.

This incident marks the latest in a series of swatting events targeting political figures, with a troubling trend of such events being initiated by prank callers associated with the Democratic party against their political adversaries.

The prank call reported a fire at the White House, leading emergency services and the U.S. Secret Service to rush to the snow-covered scene, only to ascertain that it was a hoax.

A Washington, D.C., dispatcher made the alarming announcement at 7:04 a.m.: “Fire in the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”

After a thorough evaluation, authorities issued an “all clear” at 7:15 a.m. Notably, President Joe Biden was safely situated at Camp David during the incident, far from the White House.

The prank call was traced back to a likely spoofed phone number, as someone reached at the callback number for the 911 report denied placing the call.

This unsettling incident adds to a concerning pattern of swatting targeting various public figures, including Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), along with celebrities Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber, and Kim Kardashian.
