Regarding the Iowa caucuses. Johnson county is a heavy liberal area because of Iowa City and the University of Iowa. It would be pretty easy to bribe students to vote for anyone but Trump. Probably why it was the only county to go to Haley.
I would look to the counties in NH that have a university with bribable students and staff.
