Adeno-associated viruses (AAV) are small viruses that infect humans and some other primate species. They belong to the genus Dependoparvovirus, which in turn belongs to the family Parvoviridae.

Question: AAV is from the family of viruses that cause Parvo.

Parvo affects the heart of animals.

Is this why heart attacks are on the rise?

Did they find a way to (gain of function) cross from dogs to humans?

I didn't read the whole article. It made my brain hurt.
