Since the most important place ‘ natural born citizen’ occurs us in the Constitution regarding who is eligible to be president, it’s important to view the law’s text not the interpretation of it, maybe? Not coming down on you, just you have to go to the sauce.
This is the law:
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”
The kae dues to day what a natural born citizen IS. that was defined by the Suoreme court car aforementioned.
Maybe that interpretation needs to be revisited like Roe vs Wade was.
