He continued, “The very reason I’m here at Davos, is to explain to many people in this room and who are watching, with all due respect – nothing personal – that you are part of the problem.”

“Political elites tell the average people… that the reality is ‘x,’ when in fact, reality is ‘y,’” Roberts further declared, going on to give several examples with regards to open borders, immigration, gender issues, and the constant guilt trip elites subject everyday people to over the “existential threat” of climate change, while they hypocritically fly around in private jets.

Merrick Garland Makes Stunning Admission About Jack Smith’s Cases Against Trump

US Attorney General Merrick Garland made a stunning admission about Special Counsel Jack Smith’s cases against Trump during an interview with CNN.

Recall that Garland appointed Jack Smith as special counsel as a hired gun to jail Trump shortly after the former president announced his 2024 White House run in November 2022.

Garland admitted to election interference when he told CNN that he agrees there should be a ‘speedy trial’ as Trump seeks to delay the two trials set to begin on March 4 and May 24.

“Garland said he agrees with special counsel Jack Smith’s assertion that the “public interest requires a speedy trial” in the 2020 election currently set for trial in March in Washington, DC.” CNN reported.

“The matter is now in the hands of the trial judge to determine when a trial will take place,” Merrick Garland said during the CNN interview taped Thursday.

“Garland also defended the department against allegations of election interference when asked whether he thought the federal cases against Trump should have been brought sooner – in order to avoid the prosecution of a leading candidate unfolding months before a presidential election.” the outlet said.

“The cases were brought last year. The prosecutor has urged speedy trials, with which I agree. And it’s is now in the hands of the judicial system, not in our hands,” Garland said. “Special prosecutors followed the facts and the law. They brought cases when they thought they were ready.”

Texas Begins Arresting, Charging Illegal Immigrants In Eagle Pass As Border Feud With Biden Admin Intensifies

The arrests were announced by Lt. Chris Olivarez at the Texas Department of Public Safety on X, formerly Twitter.

Mr. Olivarez said single adult migrant men and women were taken into state custody and charged with criminal trespassing under Governor Greg Abbott’s new state law, which allows police to arrest and charge people suspected of entering the country illegally.

That measure was passed in December and is set to go into effect in March but is currently subject to a legal challenge by the Justice Department.

“Under the authority of Gov.@GregAbbott_TX’s Border Disaster Declaration, @TxDPS Troopers are arresting illegal immigrants for criminal trespass at #ShelbyPark in Eagle Pass,” he wrote.

“Troopers are enforcing criminal trespass on adult men & women. The State of Texas will maintain a proactive posture in curbing illegal border crossings between the ports of entry,” Mr. Olivarez added.

The Texas official also shared photos and video footage alongside the post, showing officers searching and handcuffing multiple illegal aliens before leading them into police vehicles.

Typically, illegal immigrants who enter the United States may surrender to border patrol agents and seek asylum.

Biden Admin Issues Warning

It is not immediately clear how many arrests were made by Texas officials.

However, the detentions mark the first of their kind since Texas state authorities earlier this month took control of Shelby Park, a roughly 2.5-mile portion of the U.S.-Mexico border that serves as a hotbed for illegal immigration, in an effort to combat unprecedented illegal border crossings.

Wednesday’s arrests are likely to increase ongoing tensions between Texas officials and the Biden administration after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) demanded state authorities stop “barring” federal Border Patrol agents from accessing the area, which is located next to the Rio Grande.

The federal government claims that Texas has “impeded operations of Border Patrol” along the area in “conflict with the authority and duties of Border Patrol under federal law” and preempted under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

In a cease-and-desist letter sent to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Jan. 14, DHS general counsel Jonathan Meyer further accused Texas of having failed to allow border agents access to the area “even in instances of imminent danger to life and safety.”

Meta admits 100k underage users are sexted daily – media

The disturbing statistic is among other revelations contained in a newly-unsealed court filing

Facebook and Instagram users sexually harass about 100,000 children on both platforms every day, the social media brands' parent company, Meta, has reportedly admitted.

The revelation was contained in a legal filing from a lawsuit taken by the state of New Mexico against Meta last month, which was unsealed on Wednesday.

Internal company documents detail unsolicited messages received by underage users including “pictures of adult genitalia,” The Guardian, TechCrunch and other outlets have reported. The documents also show that multiple Meta employees have raised concerns about child exploitation on their respective platforms.

The social media giant has long been aware of sexual predators targeting its youngest users. One senior executive even testified before Congress last year about how his daughter had been sexually solicited on Instagram – and about his own ultimately futile efforts to end the phenomenon.

Some employees worried the predator problem could have serious consequences for the company too, according to the filing, which describes a 2020 incident in which an Apple executive’s 12-year-old daughter received lewd messages on IG Direct – Instagram’s private-messaging platform analogous to Facebook Messenger.

“This is the kind of thing that pisses Apple off to the extent of threatening to remove us from the App Store,” a Meta employee wrote in one document.

While Meta acknowledged the risks posed by allowing children to receive unsolicited direct messages on Facebook and Instagram, the company declined to implement proposed safeguards and even stood in the way of adopting child-safety fixes because there was no money in it, according to New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez.

“For years, Meta employees tried to sound the alarm about how decisions made by Meta executives subjected children to dangerous solicitations and child exploitation,” Torrez told TechCrunch on Wednesday, accusing management of habitually making “decisions that put growth ahead of children’s safety.”

“While the company continues to downplay the illegal and harmful activity children are exposed to on its platforms, Meta’s internal data and presentations show the problem is severe and pervasive,” he continued, referring to the newly-unsealed filing.

The state’s lawsuit accused Meta of allowing Facebook and Instagram to devolve into “a marketplace for predators in search of children upon whom to prey,” such that it failed to remove even reported child pornography and other abusive content. Some child exploitation material is “over ten times more prevalent on Facebook and Instagram than it is on Pornhub and OnlyFans,” the suit claimed.

While Meta responded to the suit by claiming it had spent “over a decade working on these issues,” the newly-public documents show the company deliberately limiting child-safety features even while trying to lure more children and teens to use its direct-messaging function. Executives internally admitted they were losing youth market share to platforms like SnapChat, arguing against scanning messages for “harmful content” lest kids view it as invading their privacy.

Last Friday,Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has slated a mid-February hearing to address explosive allegations against Soros-funded District Attorney Fani Willis, The Epoch Times reported.

The court acknowledged the need to deliberate on claims that Willis engaged in an “improper” use of funds and maintained an alleged “scandalous” affair with Nathan Wade, the prosecutor Willis hired to lead Trump’s investigation.

Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign official and co-defendant in the racketeering case led by Willis, moved to accuse both Willis and Wade of misconduct.

The motion, spearheaded by Roman’s attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, alleges an “improper, clandestine personal relationship” between Willis and Wade, potentially undermining the integrity of the prosecution against Trump and others.

Fani Willis was earlier subpoenaed to testify in the divorce proceedings of Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she appointed to go after former President Donald Trump and his associates.

According to a court filing obtained by The Wall Street Journal, Willis was served a subpoena at her Atlanta office for her testimony in the divorce case of Nathan Wade and his wife, Joycelyn Wade.

The nature of the questions Willis may face in the deposition remains undisclosed in the subpoena document.

Willis then went to a local church service and lied to the congregation about her payments to her lover Nathan Wade.

Now Fanis is fighting back. Willis is now attacking Wade’s former wife saying she interfering with her bogus case against President Trump!

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is accusing the estranged wife of a special prosecutor she hired of trying to obstruct her criminal election-interference case against former President Donald Trump and others by seeking to question her in the couple’s divorce proceedings.

A motion filed last week by a defense attorney in the election case alleges that Willis was involved in a romantic relationship with attorney Nathan Wade. A lawyer for Willis wrote in a filing Thursday that lawyers for Wade’s wife, Joycelyn Wade, served a subpoena to the district attorney last week.

The filing says that the subpoena is being sought “in an attempt to harass and damage” Willis’ professional reputation and accuses Joycelyn Wade of having “conspired with interested parties in the criminal Election Interference Case to use the civil discovery process to annoy, embarrass, and oppress” the district attorney.

Asked by a reporter if “the air strikes in Yemen working,” Biden responded: “Well when you say ‘working,’ are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes.” While the PLC is recognized as Yemen’s legitimate government in the West, the Iran-backed Houthis — properly Ansar Allah (‘Supporters of Allah’) — control the country’s capital, most of its population, and much of the Red Sea coast. They have been launching attacks on U.S. warships and commercial shipping in the Red Sea for weeks to pressure Israel and its allies into bringing an end to the war on Hamas in Gaza. The group recently promised to spare Chinese and Russian ships due to their stance on the Gaza war.

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched ballistic missiles at targets in Syria and Iraq, hitting what they claim is a spy base for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad in northern Iraq as well as “anti-Iran terror groups” in Syria.

One missile strike hit near the American consulate in Erbil, although U.S. officials have said that no American facilities were affected by the strikes. Iranian forces said that they were targeting an Israeli intelligence headquarters there. A rocket fell on the home of a senior Kurdish intelligence officer and a Kurdish intelligence center, and air traffic at the nearby Erbil airport was halted.

Four civilians were reportedly killed in the attack, but none of them were American. The Erbil strikes killed Kurdish businessman Peshraw Dizayi and his one-year-old daughter; his wife and two sons sustained serious injuries and his villa was destroyed. It is not known if the building was a target of the attack.

The United States has condemned the strikes, with White House National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson saying in a statement that the "initial indications are that this was a reckless and imprecise set of strikes."

"The United States supports the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Iraq," she added.

The Iraqi government also condemned the attacks and has ordered an investigation into what happened. The country has also recalled its ambassador from Tehran for consultations on the strikes.
