Former IRS Contractor Admits to Taking Job with Intent to Steal and Leak Trump’s Tax Returns, DOJ Reports

Charles Littlejohn, a former contractor for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), confessed to intentionally taking a role at the agency with the specific aim of stealing and leaking former President Donald Trump’s tax returns.

In September, according to court documents and an official press release from the Department of Justice, Charles Littlejohn, 38, of Washington, D.C., stole tax return information associated with a high-ranking government official, referred to as Public Official A. He then disclosed this information to a news organization identified as News Organization 1.

A source familiar with the matter informed CNN that the unnamed official mentioned in the legal documents is former President Donald Trump.

Littlejohn didn’t stop at stealing the former President’s tax information. He is also accused of stealing IRS information on thousands of the nation’s wealthiest individuals, including tax returns and return information dating back more than 15 years. This information was then sent to a second unnamed news organization, News Organization 2.

Both news organizations that received the stolen information have published numerous articles describing the tax information they obtained. While the court records do not name these news organizations, it is worth noting that The New York Times and ProPublica both published articles based on tax records of the former president and other wealthy Americans around the same time frame.

The Gateway Pundit reported in 2019 that never-before-seen Trump tax documents were released to the media.

President Trump’s tax documents were released to ProPublica allegedly using New York’s FOIA law.

ProPublica reviewed tax documents on 4 of Trump’s properties in New York and alleged discrepancies involving 40 Wall Street and the Trump International Hotel and Tower.

The documents show Trump’s businesses in 2017 appeared more profitable to lenders and less profitable to the IRS and tax officials — this is standard operating procedure, but leftie ‘experts’ are claiming the inconsistencies are “versions of fraud.”

In October, Littlejohn pleaded guilty to leaking Trump’s tax returns.

“An IRS contractor, Charles Littlejohn, 38, of Washington, D.C., pleaded guilty today to disclosing tax return information without authorization.” the DOJ said in a press release.

“By using his role as a government contractor to gain access to private tax information, steal that information, and disclose it publicly, Charles Littlejohn broke federal law and betrayed the public’s trust,” said Attorney General Merrick Garland. “In every case, the Department of Justice is committed to following the facts wherever they lead and holding accountable those who violate our laws.”

Prior to his role at the IRS, Littlejohn was employed intermittently from 2008 to 2013 at Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting firm. During his tenure there, he primarily worked on projects related to the IRS, positioning him to later infiltrate the agency with the intent of accessing Trump’s tax information.

The Turkish leader has called out the Israeli PM over the Gaza conflict

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has committed “genocide” against the Palestinians of Gaza, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.

Speaking at a warship commissioning ceremony at the Yalova shipyard near Istanbul, the Turkish leader laid into both Israel and the West.

“There is no more trust towards the Western countries that have failed the test on the Gaza issue. Their fascist faces have been exposed. They have not taken a single step to prevent violence. The organizations tasked with global security have suffered a fiasco,” Erdogan said. “They have confined themselves to idly watching acts of genocide and barbarism committed against the people of Palestine by the ‘modern fuehrer’ Netanyahu.”

Türkiye has openly condemned Israel’s military actions in Gaza, accusing West Jerusalem of atrocities against Palestinian civilians in the enclave.

This is the second time in three weeks that Erdogan has compared Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.

At a speech in Ankara last month, he claimed that what Israel was doing in Gaza was no different than what Nazi Germany had done to Jews during the Second World War.

Netanyahu declared war on Hamas in October, after a series of raids by the Palestinian group claimed the lives of some 1,200 Israelis. Nearly 24,000 Palestinians have been killed since, according to the Gaza health authorities.

The Israeli PM has publicly denounced the idea of any statehood for the Palestinians, while several prominent members of his ruling coalition floated the idea of expelling all the residents of Gaza to Egypt, which even the US denounced as unacceptable.

In his speech on Friday, Erdogan contrasted the behavior of the West with Türkiye’s role in attempting to broker a peace between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022. He said that those talks had been “sabotaged by military lobbies” but now some people were expressing regret about that, just as they will eventually do about Gaza.

“Those who turn a blind eye to the massacres being committed by Israel in Gaza will face disastrous consequences,” the Turkish president said.

Several Turkish lawyers have sought to press charges against Netanyahu at the International Criminal Court (ICC), with Ankara’s tacit approval. Meanwhile, South Africa has sued Israel for genocide before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.

Mr Hill said Mr Netanyahu's declaration that he will not support the creation of a Palestinian state is "appalling" and demands an urgent international response, including from Australia.

"The grave implication of Netanyahu's comments is that he is hell-bent on formalising a policy of apartheid. What else can he possibly mean?" Mr Hill said.

"This is devastating for all who want peace and security for Israel alongside a Palestinian state and cannot be tolerated by the international community… and it can't just go unchallenged."

"Without action now then a viable Palestinian state will soon be impossible and conflict in the Middle East further inflamed."

During a visit to the Middle East this week, Foreign Minister Penny Wong said the trip reaffirmed her view that establishing an independent Palestinian state is required for peace in the region.

The Israeli prime minister's comments also defy the Biden administration's official policy endorsing a two-state solution, while the US provides Israel with $US3.3 billion ($4.5 billion) a year in military aid.

Mr Hill said while his own comments — including those around apartheid may be seen as "controversial" in Australia — these are "mainstream debating points" within Israel and within the Jewish community.

While Israel strongly rejects any allegation of apartheid, human rights organisations like Amnesty International say Israel's policies against Palestinians amount to "apartheid".

House Republicans Introduce Bill to Withdraw Funding from Globalist’s World Economic Forum

A group of House Republicans has taken a firm stance against the World Economic Forum (WEF) by introducing a new piece of legislation aimed at cutting off all federal funding to the globalist organization, The Daily Caller reported.

The bill known as the Defund Davos Act was spearheaded by Representative Scott Perry (R-PA), and joined by Representatives Tom Tiffany (WI-07), Paul Gosar (AZ-09), Diana Harshbarger (TN-01), Andy Ogles (TN-05), and Matt Rosendale (MT-02)

The Defund Davos Act seeks to prevent the State Department, USAID, and other federal agencies from funneling money into the WEF.

The proposed bill states, “No funds available to the Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development, or any other department or agency may be used to provide funding for the World Economic Forum.”

According to records, the United States government has contributed millions to the WEF over the past years. This spending trend is something Perry and his fellow GOP lawmakers argue should come to an abrupt end.

“Forcing American Taxpayers to fund annual ski trips for insular, global elitists is absurd – not to mention reprehensible,” Rep. Perry said in a statement. “The World Economic Forum doesn’t deserve one cent of American funding, and it’s past time we defund Davos.”

Echoing Perry’s sentiments, Representative Tom Tiffany released a statement condemning the funding of the WEF.

“The wealthy WEF globalists should not receive Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars,” said Rep. Tiffany. “The Defund Davos Act would ensure that U.S. tax dollars are not funding the World Economic Forum and their reset on our way of life. I thank Congressman Perry for leading this important effort.”

The World Economic Forum (WEF), founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, has come under scrutiny for its influence on government policies around the world.

The phrase “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy” is associated with the WEF and its agenda for what it calls the “Great Reset.” The “Great Reset” is a proposal by the WEF to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Around 74,000 student loan borrowers will now see debt canceled as a result of administrative changes enacted by the US Department of Education in the latest round of relief - including borrowers enrolled in the government's income-driven repayment and public service loan forgiveness programs, Bloomberg reports.

Each program requires at least a decade of payment or service to be eligible for relief. Mismanaged federal student-loan plans have left some borrowers without promised relief after making payments for as long as 25 years. -Bloomberg

"My administration is able to deliver relief to these borrowers – and millions more – because of fixes we made to broken student loan programs that were preventing borrowers from getting relief they were entitled to under the law," Biden said in a Friday statement written by other people.

Of those receiving taxpayer-funded assistance, roughly 60% are taxpayer-funded "public servants" - so the snake continues to eat its tail. So, buying votes with voters' money.

Publisher of Sports Illustrated Lays Off Magazine’s Entire Staff

The owner of Sports Illustrated has ended the employment of the publication’s entire staff, leaving the very existence of the nearly 70-year-old magazine in doubt.

The licensing group that owns the sports mag has terminated its agreement with The Arena Group to continue publishing the magazine three weeks after Arena missed a $2.8 million payment, a deficit that breached the magazine’s licensing deal, according to Front Office Sports.

Authentic bought SI out from Meredith in 2019 for $10 million. If it continues publishing, the magazine will turn 70 years old this August.

An email announcing the decision says in part, “We were notified by Authentic Brands Group (ABG) that the license under which the Arena Group operates the Sports Illustrated (SI) brand and SI-related properties had been officially revoked by ABG. As a result of this license revocation, we will be laying off staff that work on the SI brand.”

Report: Fani Willis Gave Big Contracts to Alleged Lover’s Law Partner

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis reportedly gave significant contracts to her alleged lover’s law partner, raising concerns that Willis’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump is deeply rooted in a conflict of interest.

The Office of the District Attorney paid Christopher Campbell, a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, as much as $126,000 since 2021, the Daily Caller reported Friday. “Willis hired Campbell to provide services as a ‘Taint Attorney’ reviewing privileged evidence beginning in Jan. 2021 at a rate of $150 an hour,” documents obtained by the Daily Caller show:

Willis appointed Campbell’s partner, Nathan Wade, as a special prosecutor in her prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

Willis and Wade are romantic partners, a motion filed last week by a co-defendant in the Trump case alleged.

The motion claims Willis financially benefited from the romantic relationship.

“It’s not just the issue about Wade being her paramour and the issue of kickbacks, but she also got the funds by misleading the Fulton County Commissioners about what the funds were going to be used for,” John Malcolm, vice president for the Heritage Foundation’s Institute for Constitutional Government, told the Daily Caller. “In addition to that, it would enrich [Wade’s] firm.”

The Daily Caller reported specifics about the documents linking Campbell and Willis:

Campbell’s contract, which spans from Jan. 25, 2021 to Jan. 25, 2022, places him at the same hourly pay rate Willis initially awarded Floyd, who’s known as Georgia’s top racketeering expert, in his contract beginning in April 2021. Other billing statements and contracts show Floyd was later paid $200 an hour.

Wade’s contracts starting on Nov. 1, 2021 and billing statements reveal he received $250 an hour for his work as special prosecutor, $100 more than his partner, Campbell. Wade has received nearly $654,000 from the Fulton County District Attorney’s office since the start of 2022, according to county records.

Wade and Campbell’s former law partner, Terrence Bradley, has also been paid $74,480 by the District Attorney’s office since 2021, according to county records. Under a separate contract spanning from March 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021, Campbell was also hired to provide services as a “First Appearance Attorney” at a rate of $65 an hour, according to the document.

On Thursday, a Georgia judge ordered Willis to “respond” to the corruption accusations in writing by February 2, the Washington Post reported. The order will force the prosecutor to speak on television about the allegations on February 15.

Willis hinted at the allegations on Sunday during a speech at Big Bethel AME Church. She described herself as an “imperfect” and “flawed” person but suggested she is the target of racism. “Who’s playing the race card when they only question one [Wade]? Isn’t [it] them playing the race card?” she asked. “I’ve been doing almost 30 years [sic].”
