I tried to look this up before I posed the question here.

And I ran across this article, but I was still confused, so I figured I would present it to the anons.

With all of the is Nikki Haley eligible to be POTUS, I started to think of other scenarios.

And I started to wonder about citizenship in US territories. If they are citizens why can't they be POTUS? Or can they be? It's all so confusing.

And what about US states that were territories before they became states. Were people born in US territories considered to be Natural Born Citizens?

And how can someone be considered to be US citizen if they are born in Puerto Rico and they aren't even allowed to vote for POTUS?

This seems ok to me because his parents were US citizens at the time of his birth.

But the Dems. have muddied that water to their advantage by claiming that anchor babies are US citizens, which seems ridiculous to me.
