Why is an unqualified (Constitutionally-speaking) person serving as VP now (Kamala), and why is another being touted by Glenn Beck and others for Trump (Vivek)?

None of the following meet the "natural born" (as opposed to "native born"/"anchor baby") requirement which is one of only 3 requirements [sauce at end] one must meet to be President of the United States.

Yet all have unabashedly run (unchecked by their respective Secretaries of States and/or GOP/Democrat Party chairs and/or Congress - whoever is responsible for ensuring candidates actually meet the criteria) for President, served as V.P. ("a heart beat away" and "next in line," should anything happpen) or are currently being considered for V.P.:

  • Vivek Ramaswamy

  • Kamala Harris

  • Nikky Haley

  • Ted Cruz

  • Tulsi Gabbard

  • Bobby Jindal

  • Marco Rubio

  • Andrew Chang (maybe: citizenship of parents at the time of his birth unknown at the time sauce was written)

Neither of Vivek's parents was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth - which disqualifies him from serving as a U.S. President, according to the law spelled out at the website above.

"Back door" candidates - since front door is shut?

To avoid that threat to national security (the reason for the "natural born" qualification), i.e., a Constitutionally-unqualified person becoming President by inertia on the part of Patriots and careful planning and manipulation on the part of Constitutional-denying snakes, perhaps a better strategy would be to keep unqualified condidates off the Primary ballot and off the General ballot (as VP)if they don't meet all three Constitutional requirements for the office of the U.S. President.

A few legal challenges (against Barry O's source of citizenship, for example) have gotten nowhere. Standing seems to be the trick bag. So what IS the proper place to bring the challenge? And WHO DOES have standing?

If no one, when the good guys take the power back, federal legislation should be enacted that spells out:

(1) What "natural born" means in the Constitution (as it relates to the office of the President - based on law and historical context, not wishful thinking or inapplicable "anchor baby" 14th Amendment machinations),

(2) What is the vetting process (vis-a-vis the handful of prerequisites one must have to run), and

(3) Who can compel those in #2 to actually do their job?

Perhaps a new criminal statute calling for atreasoncharge for those who neglect their responsibly for ensuring Presidential prerequisites are checked off - before a candidate announces a candidacy for the highest office - would get some necessary attention on this critical requirement.

It is currently being eliminated by lack of application through willful blindness and/or neglectful inattention (and then later may be declared the "new standard" based on "past practices"). The latter interpretation should not stand, though that won't stop some from trying, when an amendment to the U.S. Constitution requires the almost impossible to meet (as it should be) of:

"An amendment may be proposed by a two-thirds vote of both Houses of Congress, or, if two-thirds of the States request one, by a convention called for that purpose. The amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures, or three-fourths of conventions called in each State for ratification."

By neglecting to enforce all 3 requirements to Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, we are allowing a de facto Constitutional amendment - without the robust and rigorous process required to properly achieve it.

"It''s a Constitutional Republic," a founding father said, "if we can keep it."

This is one way to lose it, piece by piece.
