Not logical. The Constitution for the united States of America specifies that the federal government SHALL provide to the States a secure border. It says nothing about what we consume nor how we remain healthy/restore health. The Bill of Rights clarifies that ALL powers not specifically enumerated as delegated to the FedGov are reserved to the States, or to the People.
So, food/drugs are a completely separate issue from border security. Read the Constitution; it's only 4 pages. Make the time.
