WHAT A SHAME: The Democratic Socialists of America Are Going Broke, May Have to Lay Off Staff

The Democratic Socialists of America, one of AOC’s favorite political organizations, is facing a serious financial crunch and may have to lay people off.

Who knew that socialists would have such a hard time managing funds? It looks like they finally ran out of other people’s money.

Of course, this could have something to do with the insane pro-Hamas demonstrations that many of their members have participated in in recent months.

The New York Post reports:

Democratic Socialists face seven-figure ‘crisis’ amid Palestinian support that may force dreaded layoffs of staff

The Democratic Socialists of America are red all over — with a financial situation so dire that some leaders are demanding job cuts and the layoff of staffers just like a corporate America entity, The Post has learned.

The DSA — which has led protests against Israel over the Jewish state’s retaliatory response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack — is deep in a seven-figure hole and desperately in need of a way to stanch the red ink, members acknowledge.

“We will cut $500,000 from staff-related expenses. We will first ask for volunteers from both director-level and bargaining unit staff to have their position cut and receive severance,” according to a proposal advanced by members of DSA’s National Political Committee affiliated with its Marxist Bread and Roses caucus.

“If necessary, we will then explore initiating lay-offs according to the DSA union’s contract,” the DSA officers said.

The situation appears to be a case of an organization that blindly seeks utopia and professes support of the working class clashing with reality — forcing it to have to balance a budget like the rest of America and even contemplate layoffs hated by labor unions.

“DSA is in a financial crisis and staff-related costs account for 58% of our total expenditures and 72% of our projected income,” DSA members Alex Pellitteri, Kristin Schall and Laura Wadlin wrote in the proposal.

“The current deficit willforce us to make 7-figure budget cuts. This will require us to make painful decisions that will impact all levels of the organization.… Given our current financial state, we do not believe we can have a healthy, democratic, and effective organization while spending the amount we currently do on staff,” they added.

New Hampshire Voters Confused as They Receive Calls from Voice That Sounds Like Biden: Report

Some voters in New Hampshire reported that they received phone calls that encouraged them not to vote in this week’s Republican primary and instead save their energy for the general election, in which they were encouraged to vote for Democrats.

The robocalls used a voice that sounded exactly like President Joe Biden, and they are now being investigated by the New Hampshire attorney general’soffice for election interference, NBC News reported.

Alex Thompson, a reporter for Axios, shared an audio clip of one of the calls on the social media platform X on Monday morning.

“We know the value of voting Democratic,” a voice that sounds identical to Biden’s said. “It’s important that you save your vote for the November election. We’ll need your help in electing Democrats up and down the ticket.”

“Voting this Tuesday only enables the Republicans in their quest to elect Donald Trump again,”the message added. “Your vote makes a difference in November, not this Tuesday.”

The call concluded by offering to allow its recipients to opt out of future calls.

NBC also reported, that the calls began with, “What a bunch of malarkey,” a term that has been used frequently by Biden.

According to NBC, the number the call came from has beenlinked to former New Hampshire Democratic Party chair Kathy Sullivan.

Sullivan is currently leading an effort through a PAC to have Democrats write in Biden’s name on their ballots, as it is currently not on there due to state election officials bucking the new Democratic National Convention rules.

NBC News also reported Sullivan filed a complaint when she found out that her personal number had been used for the robocalls. (Of course she did.)

The calls were reported to have been made on Sunday.

The New Hampshire attorney general’s office said Monday in a news release that the calls are under review.

“The Attorney General’s Office has received complaints regarding a recorded message encouraging voters not to vote in the January 23, 2024, New Hampshire Presidential Primary Election,” the release began.

“The message, which was sent on January 21, 2024, stated ‘your vote makes a difference in November, not this Tuesday.’ Although the voice in the robocall sounds like the voice of President Biden, this message appears to be artificially generated based on initial indications.”

While the news release did not mention Sullivan, the attorney general’s office said it appeared the person or people behind the robocalls “spoofed” the number of the “treasurer of a political committee.”

“These messages appear to be an unlawful attempt to disrupt the New Hampshire Presidential Primary Election and to suppress New Hampshire voters,” the state’s attorney general’s office said.

The calls are being investigated as a crime, and anyone who received one is asked to file a complaint by visiting the New Hampshire Department of Justice website.

House Jan. 6 Committee deleted more than 100 encrypted files days before GOP took majority: sources

EXCLUSIVE: The former House Select Committee on Jan. 6 deleted more than 100 encrypted files from its probe just days before Republicans took over the majority in the House of Representatives, Fox News Digital has learned.

The House Administration Committee's Oversight Subcommittee is leading an investigation into Jan. 6, 2021, led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga. The panel is investigating the security failures on that day, as well as the "actions" of the former select committee investigating the Capitol riot.

Loudermilk, last week, told Fox News Digital his investigation hasentered a "new phase" with renewed support from House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who has committed additional resources to the panel’s investigation.

Sources familiar with Loudermilk’s investigation told Fox News Digital that, per House rules, theformer select committee, which was chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., was required to turn over all documentsfrom its investigation to the new, GOP-led panel, after Republicans secured the majority of the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterm elections.

Sources told Fox News Digital that Thompson had told Loudermilk that theselect committee would turn over four terabytes of archived data, but that the new committeeonly received approximately two terabytes of data.

Fox News Digital has learned that Loudermilk’s committee hired a digital forensics team to scrape hard drives to determine what information they were not given.

The forensics team, according to sources familiar with their search,determined that 117 files were both deleted and encrypted. Sources said those fileswere deleted on Jan. 1, 2023– just days before Thompson’s team was required to transfer the data to the new committee.

Fox News Digital has learned the forensics team has recovered all 117 deleted and encrypted files.Now, Loudermilk is demanding answers and passwords to access the data.

Fox News Digital exclusively obtained a letter Loudermilk sent to Thompson, requesting access to recovered digital files by his forensic team.

"As you acknowledged in your July 7, 2023 letter, the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol (Select Committee) did not archive all Committee records as required by House Rules," Loudermilk wrote. "You wrote that you sent specific transcribed interviews and depositions to the White House and Department of Homeland Security but did not archive them with the Clerk of the House."

Loudermilk added that Thompson also "claimed that you turned over 4-terabytes of digital files, but the hard drives archived by the Select Committee with the Clerk of the House contain less than 3- terabytes of data."

Loudermilk explained that after a forensic analysis of the data and archived hard drives,he was able to recover "numerous digital records from hard drives archived by the Select Committee."

"One recovered file disclosed the identity of an individual whose testimony was not archivedby the Select Committee," Loudermilk wrote. "Further, we found thatmost of the recovered files are password-protected, preventing us from determining what they contain."

Loudermilk asked that Thompson provide him "a list of passwords for all password-protected files created by the Select Committee" so that his committee can "access these files and ensure they are properly archived."

Meanwhile, Loudermilk also penned letters to White House general counsel and the general counsel of the Department of Homeland Security, requesting "unedited and unredacted transcripts" of White House and DHS testimony to the former select committee.

Loudermilk's committee knows the transcripts of these interviews exist, but said they were not turned over by the Thompson-led committee.

Loudermilk demanded the White House and DHS comply with his request by Jan. 24.

"It’s obvious that Pelosi’s Select Committee went to great lengths to prevent Americans from seeing certain documents produced in their investigation. It also appears that Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney intended to obstruct our Subcommittee by failing to preserve critical information and videos as required by House rules," Loudermilk told Fox News Digital.

"The American people deserve to know the full truth, and Speaker Johnson has empowered me to use all tools necessary to recover these documents to get the truth, and I will."

(Headline USA) Radio host Charlamagne Tha Godadmitted last week that black and working-class voters were ditching President Joe Biden over the illegal immigration crisis, the New York Post reported.

The Democrat (real name: Lenard McKelvey) also acknowledged in an interview with Fox News thatRepublican governors’ strategy of shipping illegals to blue sanctuary cities was “effective” because “it made a lot of those Democrats start singing a different tune,”

He added, “And, I mean, the voters see that. So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong.”

Biden, who has “never been a good candidate,” according to Charlamagne, has only exacerbated the issue by continuing to allow hundreds of thousands of border-hopping illegals into the country every month.

He added, “And, I mean, the voters see that. So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong.”

Biden, who has “never been a good candidate,” according to Charlamagne, has only exacerbated the issue by continuing to allow hundreds of thousands of border-hopping illegals into the country every month.

“I have the privilege of doing morning radio and speaking to working-class people every single day,” Charlamagne told Fox News.

“I have the privilege of being involved in my community from New York to New Jersey to South Carolina, where I get to look people in the eyes and have real conversations with them,” he continued. “And, you know, people are really concerned about this issue.”

Charlamagne said immigration is the number one issue that listeners bring up again and again.

“I honestly have never spoken to as many people who are concerned about the migrant issue as I have over the past year,” he explained. “[Biden] is the president of the United States of America. If he can take credit for the good things that happen in this country, he has to take credit for the bad as well because those things happen on his watch.”

Until Biden starts to take action on the border, his support among key demographics will continue to fall, Charlamagne warned.

“Democrats shouldn’t just be concerned about the black vote, because when you look at the polls,he’s losing with black voters, he’s losing with Latinos, he’s losing withindependents, he’s losing with the youth vote. It’s like, damn! Do y’all want to win or not? Because right now they don’t look like a winning ticket,” he said.
