Reporter: There are about eight hundred gotaways at the border every day, ninety-six thousand since October 1st. Does [Biden] want to locate these folks who have disappeared into this country to parts unknown?

Jean-Pierre: One of the reason [Biden] is having these negations with the senate…is because we want to deal with what's going on at the border…DHS is maximizing it's enforcement efforts…we're doing what we can at the border…I cannot speak to the eight thousand number you just provided to me.

Reporter: Is election denying a joke now? Why did [Biden] says, 'Hello Virginia, and the real governor Terry McAuliffe?

Jean-Pierre: He was making a joke.

Reporter: What's the joke?

Jean-Pierre: He was making a joke about McAuliffe's previous term as governor.

Reporter: How are you guys going to convince people though, that this idea of denying election results is very bad, if [Biden] is going around making jokes like this?

Jean-Pierre: He did not deny it…he was making a joke.
