"This is huge.

US troops in Texas are openly discussing defecting to Texas National Guard if the US Gov decides to pick this fight.

I have a twitter source;

Also, I have a mil source who is a contractor that works at Ft. Hood who confirmed last night that troops he works with and trains with are openingly talking about it.

If Biden pushes this border issue, he will be responsible for starting the next civil war.

It will start with something like this; Rep Joaquin Castro has asked Biden to seize the Texas national guard;

[link to thehill.com (secure)]

If Biden does this you will see mass defections and quite possibly arresting of officers who won't comply. Troops loyal to their commanders will more than likely fight back.

We days from chaos if Biden makes this move.

It will spread north and more than likely cause pockets of protests and violence in cities with pro and against rioters.

Civil war means no election. Civil war means stock market collapse."

Texas Democrat calls on Biden to seize control of Texas National Guard

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) is calling on President Biden to take control of the Texas National Guard if the state defies a Supreme Court ruling that allows U.S. Border Patrol officers to take down the border barriers.

“Governor Greg Abbott is using the Texas National Guard to obstruct and create chaos at the border. If Abbott is defying yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, @POTUS needs to establish sole federal control of the Texas National Guard now,” Castro wrote in a Tuesday post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has been engaged in a months-long feud with the Biden administration over the situation at the border. Abbott has maintained that Biden is not doing enough to address border security, while the Biden administration has said Texas does not have the authority to erect razor wire barriers.

Abbott said in a statement Wednesday that Biden has “ignored Texas’s demand that he perform his constitutional duties” and that Texas has declared an invasion, which will invoke “Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.”

“That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border,” he said.

More top stories from The Hill:

The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 on Monday to allow U.S. Border Patrol agents to remove the razor wire on the border wall placed by Texas law enforcement. The ruling came as tensions between Texas and the federal government continued to rise in recent weeks.

Despite the ruling, Abbott has said that the Texas National Guard will continue to install the razor wire along the border in a post on X. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) also urged Texas to ignore the Supreme Court ruling earlier this week.

“Texas’ razor wire is an effective deterrent against the illegal border crossings encouraged by Biden’s open border policies. We continue to deploy this razor wire to repel illegal immigration,” Abbott said.

Rep. Greg Casar (D-Texas) criticized Abbott for ordering more razor wire to be installed after the ruling.

“Greg Abbott’s latest stunt after yesterday’s Supreme Court order is malicious, unconstitutional, & against Texas values. Our country needs Congress to create a safer, humane, & more orderly immigration system — not razor wire to cut innocent people or laws that attack families,” he wrote on X.

The Texas National Guard and the Texas Department of Public Safety earlier this month installed fences and razor wire in a riverside park in Eagle Pass, Texas, which state law enforcement also prevented Border Patrol officers from accessing.

Three migrants — two children and one woman — drowned in the Rio Grande just outside the park earlier this month. Border Patrol agents said the Texas National Guard prevented them from accessing the area to aid the migrants, but Texas has denied the accusation.

The Hill has reached out to Abbott’s office and Castro’s office for additional comment.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Gov. Bill Lee is standing behind the governor of Texas after he defied the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling this week allowing border patrol agents to resume cutting razor wire that Texas installed along a stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott pushed back against federal lawmakers and added more wire to the border fence. He posted X Tuesday saying, "The Texas National Guard continues to hold the line." This comes at the center of an escalating standoff between the Biden administration and Texas over immigration enforcement.

Gov. Lee showed his support for Abbott on Thursday. In a post on X, Lee said the federal government’s “failure” to secure the border is jeopardizing American citizens.

"The federal government’s failure to secure our nation’s southern border is jeopardizing the safety of all Americans," Lee wrote. "Tennessee has always stood with Texas, and we always will."

In court papers, the Biden administration said the wire impedes border patrol agents from reaching migrants as they cross the river and that, in any case, federal immigration law trumps Texas’ own efforts to stem the flow of migrants into the country.

Texas officials have argued that federal agents cut the wire to help groups crossing illegally through the river before taking them in for processing.

Despite the high court’s ruling, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection says there aren’t any plans to start on that process yet. A U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments about the razor wire case next month.

https://thebanmappingproject.com/glossary/amen-amon-or-amun

amen was the principal Egyptian state god in the New Kingdom, closely associated with Thebes at least as far back as the Middle Kingdom. He is known to have existed since at least the late Old Kingdom. Called "The Hidden One," he is associated variously with wind, water, and fertility, and was represented as a human, a goose, a ram, or a snake. He was often joined in the New Kingdom with the sun god Ra as amen-Ra. amen was a part of the Theban Triad which consisted of amen, his wife Mut and son Khonsu, and their principal temples lay at Karnak. In his form of amen-Kamutef, he was a member of the Hermopolitan Ogdoad.
