Judge Lewis Kaplan, a Clinton appointee, introduced Trump to the witness stand asserting that Trump ‘inserted fingers into E. Jean Carroll’s vagina.’

Judge Kaplan was referring to the Manhattan jury’s verdict handed down last year.

In 2019, E. Jean Carroll alleged Donald Trump raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the 1990s.

Trump has denied the allegations and called E. Jean Carroll a “whack job” who’s “not my type.”

The jury last year awarded E. Jean Carroll $5 million in damages.

The jury decided that E. Jean Carroll did not prove Trump raped her.

However, the jury said E. Jean Carroll proved Trump sexually abused her when he ‘inserted fingers into her vagina.’

President Trump appeared in court last Wednesday as E. Jean Carroll testified in a trial where the jury will decide how much Trump has to pay for his so-called ‘defamatory’ statements about her.

Under cross-examination by Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba, E. Jean Carroll admitted she deleted emails under subpoena.

Far-left Clinton Judge Kaplan rushed to E. Jean Carroll’s defense after Alina Habba moved for a mistrial following Carroll’s admission to deleting massive amounts of evidence.

Carroll also made a stunning admission under questioning about her Trump media tour. She said she did 4 TV interviews and several podcasts to promote her book.

This isn’t the first time Judge Kaplan has shown his contempt for Trump.

Judge Kaplan threatened to kick Trump out of court last Wednesday – and Trump didn’t hold back.

“I would love it,” Trump said after Judge Kaplan warned him he would be removed from the court if he’s ‘disruptive.’

Chinese stock market loses BILLIONS in days following crash of snowball derivatives

Stock markets in Hong Kong and mainland China are experiencing a massive avalanche, leading to losses on billions of dollars worth of derivatives linked to the communist nation's equity indexes, known as snowball derivatives or simply snowballs.

Snowballs – named because of the potential "snowballing" accumulating gains for investors who hold them – are structured derivatives sold in China and Hong Kong that are tied to the performance of certain underlying indexes. They offer dividends to investors in the form of bond-like coupons but only as long as the indexes of the snowballs are tied to stay within certain predetermined ranges.

If the indexes rise above the top of the ranges, then a so-called "knockout" is triggered, and the contracts tied to these indexes are terminated and investors receive coupons for the period to date. If the indexes drop below the bottom of the range, then a "knock-in" occurs, in which the holders receive no coupon and potentially lose at least a part of their investment.

The snowballs usually offered by brokers in China offer annualized returns of between 12 and 20 percent. They are most frequently linked to the two most popular small-cap indexes, the CSI 500 or CSI 1000.

Tens of billions of yuan being lost in snowballs

There is no single level for when knock-ins begin occurring. Partially state-owned brokerage firm China International Capital Corporation previously estimated that levels where most investors would begin losing coupons would be 4,865 points on the CSI 500 and 4,997 on the CSI 1000. Both of these bottom levels were breached this month, and as of press time trading levels remain below the trigger point for many knock-ins to occur.

Investment firm Guotai Junan Futures earlier this month estimated that there was a combined 30 billion yuan ($4.23 billion) worth of snowballs on the CSI 500 with knock-ins beginning at around 4,845 and on the CSI 1000 at 5,200 – far above what the latter is currently trading at.

The worst is far from over for Chinese stock market, with analysts at the Bank of America – who blame the snowballs as one of the main reasons for the stock market drops – estimating a further six to seven percent decline in the CSI 500 or CSI 1000, which are likely to trigger another round of knock-ins.

One retail investor, who spoke with Reuters under the pseudonym "Mr. Shi," said he invested at least a million yuan ($141,000) in snowballs tied to the CSI 1000 index and just recently discovered that his products had hit the knock-in level on Monday, Jan. 22.

When he bought the two-year products in early 2023, he was expecting to earn a return of at least eight percent annually. But now, unless the index rises above the 7,000 point-level within a year – a more than 40 percent rise from current levels – he will earn no coupon and also lose a big portion of his principal investment.

While investors like Mr. Shi are holding on and hoping for a resurgence in the CSI 1000, others are selling stock index futures now to hedge their exposure to future dips in the stock market. Futures contracts on the CSI 1000 due in September fell by the daily maximum limit of 10 percent on Monday to levels below eight percent, where the index was initially trading that day.

Futures contracts tied to CSI 1000 due in February saw turnover spike to 93 billion yuan ($13.12 billion) on Monday. For comparison, the average daily turnover for the past month was 13 billion yuan ($1.83 billion).

The Chinese government itself is not doing much to counteract the plunge in snowball indexes, as Beijing is more focused on coming up with a way to intervene to stop a $6 trillion stock market meltdown.

Instead, all China's main securities industry regulator has done is ask firms to ensure that their snowball products are sold only to qualified investors and that they fully disclose the relevant risks involved with investing in these volatile funds. The Asset Management Association of China, one of the main self-regulatory associations that polices the sector, has also capped how much a company can invest in snowball products at 25 percent of a company's total assets.

Mitch McConnell Says If Border Deal Fails That Trump Opposition Is To Blame

According to the minority leader, the former president put the GOP “in a quandary.” This soured the deal’s prospects and the fate of Ukraine aid that the GOP has tied to it.

The New York Times reports,

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the minority leader, told Republicans privately on Wednesday that the politics of the issue had been complicated by Mr. Trump’s rise and his hostility to the agreement, putting the party “in a quandary,” according to lawmakers who participated in the meeting and described his comments on the condition of anonymity.

The remarks, reported earlier by Punchbowl News, were striking coming from a Republican who has toiled to distance himself and his party from the former president. Mr. McConnell has vociferously backed the proposed border compromise and has been a chief proponent of a stalled effort to send tens of billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine, which Republicans have said must be tied to the deal.

Mr. McConnell’s abrupt change in tone reflected the increasingly difficult challenge facing Senate negotiators as they race to finalize immigration legislation that the former president is already actively campaigning against.

Despite meeting that bar in the Senate, Speaker Mike Johnson has cast doubt on whether it will be brought to the House floor, where hard-right lawmakers are opposed vehemently.

Mr. McConnell addressed Senate Republicans in a closed-door meeting at the Capitol on Wednesday to discuss the war in Ukraine, in a session convened upon the request of Senator Ron Johnson, Republican of Wisconsin, who is among those raising doubts about the border deal.

“I’m literally not getting any kind of acceptable response, other than, ‘Oh, this is great, you know, we’re getting things we never thought we could get,’” Mr. Johnson said of the border talks this week, questioning whether the proposed restrictions would significantly limit the number of migrants trying to cross the border unlawfully.

Other Republicans have said their party would be unwise to give President Biden a compromise that could help him politically without adequately addressing the issue.

A ‘deal’ will allow Biden to pretend he’s doing something about the border but it won’t solve the problem,” Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, wrote on social media on Wednesday.

“It goes far enough for me, and I think if anyone’s intellectually honest with themselves, they know that these would be extraordinary tools for President Trump,” Senator Thom Tillis, Republican of North Carolina, said when exiting the meeting. “We will rue the day if we miss this opportunity.”

Some might say the Uniparty strikes again.

Vince McMahon accused of assaulting ex-employee with sex toys, defecating on her head

A bombshell lawsuit claims Vince McMahon assaulted one of his WWE employees with sex toys and defecated on her head during a threesome.

A former WWE employee has claimed Vince McMahon sexually abused her — including with sex toys that he named after wrestling stars — in a shocking new lawsuit.

Janel Grant broke her silence about their relationship with disturbing allegations including charges that the wrestling magnate defecated on her head during a threesome in May 2020 and sex trafficked her to other WWE executives, according to the complaint filed in Connecticut federal court on Thursday.

Grant alleged in the complaint that McMahon sent her a text message in May 2020 which read: “i’m the only one who owns U and controls who I want to f — U.”

Her lawsuit comes after the Wall Street Journal reported last year that the WWE was investigating an alleged $3 million payment from McMahon to a departing female employee following a consensual affair.

Grant, who was unnamed at the time, claims she received an initial instalment of $1 million but no further payments afterwards, in the new lawsuit.

A subsequent investigation found that McMahon paid $14.6 million to several women who accused him of sexual misconduct.

According to the lawsuit, McMahon’s use of sex toys on Grant caused her injuries such as bruising and bleeding, the Journal reported on Thursday.

Hunter and the hunted: How Joe Biden is being linked to corruption, terror attacks, and political assassinations in Ukraine

Recent statements by a Ukrainian dissident have revealed worrying ties between the US President’s family and certain elements in Kiev

Ahead of the 2024 US presidential election, there’s been much talk about the family of US President Joe Biden and alleged corruption schemes connected with Ukraine. The story itself isn’t new, but facts have recently come to light which make it clear why the American leader and his fellow Democrats remain intransigent on the Ukraine issue.

In the footsteps of assassins and those who hire them

Andrey Derkach, a former Ukrainian parliamentarian who became widely known for publishing recordings of conversations between ex-Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko and high-ranking foreign officials, including Biden (who was then US vice president), gave an extensive interview earlier this month to journalist Simona Mangiante. During this conversation, he disclosed sensational new details about the “special ties” between the Biden family and the Ukrainian authorities.

According to Derkach, “President [Vladimir] Zelensky’s office was involved in distributing the Poroshenko-Biden recordings and helped organize the media coverage [of the story].” At the time, Zelensky and his team were interested in exposing his political rival by any means possible.

Everything changed after the start of the 2020 US election campaign and the arrival of Biden as president. “In a situation when Zelensky and [Ukrainian presidential aide Andrey] Yermak are begging Biden and [US Secretary of State Antony] Blinken for money, a [news] story about how they had once created problems for Biden’s election campaign is a big problem for them,” Derkach explained.

So, instead of exposing the corruption in the previous Ukrainian administration, the Bidens (along with Zelensky and his team) turned against anti-corruption fighters. Derkach, who has been forced to hide in Belarus, was stripped of his citizenship by the Ukrainian authorities and sanctioned by the US. But that’s not all. In addition to criminal investigations and sanctions, Derkach says he has faced assassination attempts ordered by top officials in Kiev and Washington.

”On January 19, 2022, US Secretary of State Mr Blinken arrived in Ukraine to meet with Zelensky. Quite a lot of people attended this meeting – at least 14 people. At the meeting, Mr Blinken told Zelensky the following: ‘You urgently need to resolve the issue with Derkach’. Zelensky began talking about some people from the opposition. But Blinken said, ‘If you don’t resolve this issue with Derkach, then we will resolve the Derkach issue with our partners.’ Those who were at the meeting were taken aback, because the position of the US secretary of state was quite harsh. Just think of it, the task for the president of Ukraine is to resolve the issue with Derkach,” the former deputy said.

It is noteworthy that in 2021, the Ukrainian police discovered plans to assassinate Derkach and the head of the group of prosecutors in the Burisma energy company case, Konstantin Kulik, but did not initiate a criminal case. The investigation tracked down the criminal gang from Eastern Europe hired to carry out the hit, as well as their base in Transcarpathia. The assassin himself was supposed to be an Albanian, but the information was leaked, and the gang escaped.

There was also an attempt to assassinate former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. According to former US Associate Attorney General and ex-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Shokin (whose dismissal Joe Biden has openly bragged about) was poisoned with mercury while on a trip to Greece. Nikolay Korpan – a doctor at the Austrian Rudolfinerhaus private clinic who treated presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko in 2004 – reportedly confirmed this to Giuliani. According to Korpan’s findings, while the permissible amount of mercury in the blood is no more than two units, Shokin was found to have 9.2 units and was starting to experience liver failure. It was clearly a murder attempt.

The number of witnesses in the Burisma case – a company though which Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden earned profits via alleged corruption schemes – is also steadily decreasing. Shortly before she was due to testify as a witness in the case, the wife of Nikolai Lisin – a former partner of Nikolai Zlochevsky – was found dead in her apartment. She had been responsible for accounting at Burisma and had been aware of transactions carried out in the interests of the Bidens. Lisin himself died in a car accident back in 2011.

HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS IRON DOME SITE IN NORTHERN ISRAEL WITH DRONES (VIDEO)

On January 25, Hezbollah escalated attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) by targeting an Iron Dome air defense system near the northern Israeli settlement of Kfar Blum.

The system was targeted with two suicide drones, the Iranian-backed group said in a statement, noting that the attack was carried out in “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance.”

In the hours leading to the attack, Hezbollah announced that it fighters targeted two Israeli military sites along the border with Lebanon, Jal al-Alam and al-Radar.

A spokesman for the IDF said that two “aerial targets,” believed to be drones, entered Israeli airspace from southern Lebanon and impacted open areas in northern Israel. The spokesman confirmed that the drones hit areas near Kfar Blum, but didn’t report damage or injuries.

In response to the drone attack, the IDF said that it had carried out a series of strikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including an airstrip used by the group in the Qalaat Jabbour mountain region. Other targets near the towns of Tyre and Mghairiyeh were also hit.

The airstrip, revealed by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant last year, served Hezbollah’s aerial unit, according to the IDF. Israel accused Iran of building the airstrip, which is thought to be used by the group to launch drones.

The IDF announced a second wave of strikes on southern Lebanon later in the day. It said that tanks fired at two sites belonging to Hezbollah in the towns of Tayr Harfa and Ayta al-Shab, while a site in the town Kafr Kila and an observation post in the town Blida were hit by a fighter jet. Areas near the town of al-Dhahiriya were also shelled with artillery, according to the IDF.

The clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border first broke out after the start of the war in Gaza, with Hezbollah and its allies carrying out attacks in support of the Strip.

As of January 25, the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border have resulted in six civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of nine IDF soldiers. On the Lebanese side, more than 200 have been killed. The toll includes 156 Hezbollah fighters, 14 of whom were killed in Syria, 28 Palestinians, a Lebanese soldier, and at least 24 civilians.
