Biden’s new tribal consent laws force

NYC Museum of Natural History to close

Native American exhibits

New York Post, by Olivia Land

Two major exhibition halls and several other display cabinets at the American Museum of Natural History were empty and covered up on Friday morning as the museum shuttered all Native American-related displays to comply with new federal regulations, shocking new photos showed. The glass cabinets in the museum’s halls dedicated to the Eastern Woodlands and the Great Plains looked eerily abandoned, just hours after museum director Sean Decatur announced the changes in a letter to staff Friday morning. “The halls we are closing are artifacts of an era when museums such as ours did not respect the values, perspectives and indeed shared humanity of Indigenous peoples,”

Left-Wing Media Collapse Marches On —

Vice, BuzzFeed Sell Off Parts

Breitbart Media, by John Nolte

BuzzFeed and Vice Media, two failing left-wing sites, are starting to sell off their parts, reports the Wall Street Journal. “BuzzFeed … is looking to sell its food sites, Tasty and First We Feast, according to people familiar with the situation,” writes the Wall Street Journal. “Meanwhile, Fortress Investment Group, which took over Vice in bankruptcy last year, is in talks to sell its Refinery29 women’s lifestyle-focused site[.]” The Wall Street Journal portrays these developments in much too narrow of a way — as “yet another chapter in the demise of these digital-media companies that raised money at sky-high valuations nearly a decade ago only to struggle

'This Isn't Just Bad Policy, It's Bad

Politics': Biden Blocks Several Huge Natural

Gas Projects

Let's begin with an either-or question: Does Joe Biden a) honestly believe that natural gas is an existential threat to mankind, as he regularly claims, or is he b) more concerned with appeasing — for political purposes — environmentalist alarmists? Ponder the question if necessary — but I'm gonna go with "b." Advertisement While the professed fossil-fuel-loathing president has hysterically declared war on everything from residential gas furnaces to gas stoves to even gas dishwashers, his quest never ends. In a Friday morning announcement, the White House and Department of Energy (DOE) revealed their next target — and it's enormous.

As the Industry Turns Dark, Journalists

Turn a Blind Eye to Their Problems - It's

Getting Worse

While the media environment in this country has been going through some bad years, it appears things are only becoming worse. This week alone, we have watched the Los Angeles Times gutting over 20 percent of its newsroom, Forbes has announced it will be cutting staff, and Business Insider has come out to say it, too, will be encountering layoffs. There is carnage in the news industry, but what is remarkable is that journalists – allegedly pledged to digging into stories and researching facts – are unwilling to look into what is behind the problems. Reporters have plenty of soapboxes but, surprisingly, very few mirrors. Following the the announced news

The U.S. just sold its helium stockpile.

On Thursday, the U.S. government sold the Federal Helium Reserve, a massive underground stockpile based in Amarillo, Texas, that supplies up to 30% of the country’s helium. [Snip] Regulatory and logistical issues with the facility threaten a temporary shutdown as it passes from public to private ownership, and hospital supply chain experts worry the sale could have serious consequences for health care down the road–especially when it comes to MRIs. [Snip] The facility spans three states, each with its own laws. The federal government didn’t need to reconcile state-specific rules, but a private buyer would,

A Republican National Committee member has withdrawn a draft resolution that would have declared former President Donald Trump the presumptive nominee in 2024 on Thursday following backlash and Trump’s own opposition. Maryland RNC Committeeman Dave Bossie withdrew his resolution to declare Trump presumptive nominee after his wins in Iowa and New Hampshire and dominance over former U.N. Texas civil rights groups petition the

U.N. over LGBTQ+ ‘human rights crisis'

KXAS (Fort Worth, TX), by Sara Sanchez

Civil rights organizations in Texas have filed a formal letter with the United Nations, raising the alarm on a "deteriorating human rights situation" for LGBTQ+ people in the state. Equality Texas, ACLU of Texas, GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law Human Rights Clinic submitted the joint letter. In a press release, political advocacy organization Equality Texas said the letter, addressed to 17 experts, working groups, and special rapporteurs, is meant to illustrate the ways LGBTQ+ Texans are having their rights to non-discrimination, privacy, health, freedom of expression, and education violated.
