This is in preperation for when all those child-pedo videos of government officials and hollywood actors start coming out they have something to claim…AI generated.

Zelenskyy Announces Second Pro-business Body After Banker's Arrest

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Friday the creation of a second body to assist businesses in wartime after several entrepreneurs voiced outrage at the arrest of a prominent banker.

Zelenskyy, speaking in his nightly video address, said the All-Ukraine Economic Platform would help businesses overcome the challenges posed by Russia's nearly two-year-old invasion.

Earlier this week, Zelenskyy announced the formation of a Council for the Support of Entrepreneurship, which he said sought to strengthen the economy and clarify issues relating to law enforcement agencies.

Decrees creating both bodies were published on Friday.

In his latest remarks, Zelenskyy said the platform would be a "new communication mechanism with entrepreneurs" and would encompass the "entire business community."

He said he was grateful to all entrepreneurs "who stay in the country and maintain their businesses and jobs."

The creation of the two entities followed a meeting with business leaders after the arrest last week of banker Ihor Mazepa, which Zelenskyy acknowledged had been "difficult."

The council was formed on the basis of a decision of the National Security and Defence Council, which sets defense policy. The council also pledged to alter provisions of the criminal code on the arrest and prosecution of business figures.

Business owners objected to Mazepa's detention on allegations he engaged in an illegal acquisition of land north of Kyiv to proceed with construction of luxury housing. Mazepa has since been released from pre-trial detention after posting reduced bail.

Mazepa has pledged to appeal the court ruling ordering his detention and said the case against him was being pursued because of his criticism of law enforcement bodies.

His company, Concorde Capital, has operated in Ukraine for some 20 years. His brother and company officials were also detained.

Soros Donations Aim to Turn Red Texas Blue

Billionaire Democrat donor George Soros is reportedly pouring cash into Texas to turn the red state blue.

The Texas Tribune in early January reported the Soros-backed Texas Majority PAC was pouring funds into “various regions” in hopes to sway the state.

In a new report from Fox News, the breadth of the contribution was revealed — showing Soros has contributed over $3 million to liberal groups over the last year to help Democrats gain some traction in the GOP stronghold.

In August 2023, the PAC had gotten hundreds of thousands of dollars from Soros' Democracy PAC II, the outlet reported — yet hadn’t been publicly launched at the time.

The Texas Tribune reported former staffers of Beto O’Rourke’s gubernatorial run raised nearly $2.25 million last year.

"We need millions of more dollars and hundreds of more full-time staff to do this," the group's executive director, Katherine Fischer, told The Texas Tribune. "Texas Majority PAC works with partners across the state to create the conditions that will make flipping the state possible."

According to Fox, recently released Texas campaign finance records show Soros’ Democracy PAC II has given the group $850,000 in contributions — and personally provided $1.4 million — accounting for the PAC's entire $2.25 million in donations.

Mayra Flores, a former GOP lawmaker — the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the House — thinks Soros is pouring money into the Texas Majority PAC to boost Democrat turnout, and thwart GOP Hispanic leaders to win over other Hispanics who traditionally voted blue, the outlet has reported.

"George Soros and the Democratic Party are seeing people like myself that resonate with the Hispanic community," she reportedly said.

"They resonate with me. I resonate with them. We have similar stories. I'm bilingual. I speak Spanish and English. We have similar stories, and we share that bond."

Though most of Soros' Texas cash has gone to the Texas Majority PAC, he’s also given hundreds of thousands of dollars to other groups working to elect Democrats statewide, the outlet reported.

Campaign finance records show Soros has donated at least $300,000 in the second half of 2023 to CTX Votes, and in December gave $250,000 to the Texas Organizing Project — which was criticized for bailing out a man charged with several slayings, including his parents.

Soros also gave gave $200,000 to the Dallas County Democratic PAC and $100,000 to a group called First Tuesday in the second part of 2023.

Michael Vachon, a spokesman for the wealthy donor, didn’t respond to the outlet when a query was sent.

Ukrainian Defence Officials Charged With Stealing $40 Million From Weapons Budget

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2024/01/28/ukrainian-defence-officials-charged-with-stealing-40-million-from-weapons-budget/

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Employees from a Ukrainian arms firm conspired with defense ministry officials to embezzle almost $40 million earmarked to buy 100,000 mortar shells for the war with Russia, Ukraine’s security service reported.

The SBU said late Saturday that five people have been charged, with one person detained while trying to cross the Ukrainian border. If found guilty, they face up to 12 years in prison.

The investigation comes as Kyiv attempts to clamp down on corruption in a bid to speed up its membership in the European Union and NATO. Officials from both blocs have demanded widespread anti-graft reforms before Kyiv can join them.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was elected on an anti-corruption platform in 2019, long before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Both the president and his aides have portrayed the recent firings of top officials, notably that of Ivan Bakanov, former head of the State Security Service, in July 2022, as proof of their efforts to crack down on graft.

Security officials say that the current investigation dates back to August 2022, when officials signed a contract for artillery shells worth 1.5 billion hryvnias ($39.6 million) with arms firm Lviv Arsenal.

After receiving payment, company employees were supposed to transfer the funds to a business registered abroad, which would then deliver the ammunition to Ukraine.

However, the goods were never delivered and the money was instead sent to various accounts in Ukraine and the Balkans, investigators said. Ukraine’s prosecutor general says that the funds have since been seized and will be returned to the country’s defense budget.
