Bumbling Joe Biden said Donald Trump is the 'sitting President' as the confused 81-year-old stumbled through an economic speech in South Carolina over the weekend.

The President tried to shore up support for another term as he tore into the former president during a dinner on Saturday that celebrated the state and its large base of black voters. Along with bashing Trump about his view on the US economy,Biden also said his Republican rival failed to support the rights of black citizens was a threat to democracy.

The American consumers are facing real confidence in the economy we're building. Let me tell you who else is noticing that- Donald Trump,' Biden said in his speech.

ThePresident then started to fumble his wordsas he tried to collect his thoughts and said: 'Did you see what he recently said about- he want's to, he wants to see the economy crash this year? The Sitting President.'

Biden also branded Trump as a 'loser' as he brought that his Republican rival 'refused' to visit a cemetery in France in honor of fallen US soldiers. 'And referred to those heroes, and I quote, as "suckers and losers." He actually said that! How dare he say that!' (He lies all the time.)

'The only loser I see is Donald Trump,' Biden said.

The President added Trump 'knows' that the US economy is 'good and strong, and getting stronger.' 'He knows that while it's good for America, it's bad for him politically.'

Biden's newest gaffe camejust after he stumbled during another speech at a Wisconsin Brewerywhere he called Trump a 'professor' rather than 'predecessor,' before correcting himself.

During his remarks, the President seemed to speaknonsensically as he said: 'The beer brewed here. It is used to make the brewed beer. During it define, of, Earth Rider.''Thanks for the Great Lakes. I wonder why,' he added.

Separately, a photograph published on the Twitter account of Democratic Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar showed the President at a bar with union workers.He had donned a hard hat - but was wearing it backward.Klobuchar held a beer in her hand with yellow-vested workers while Biden, who doesn't drink, gathered around them and smiled.

Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips slammed Biden just hours after he made his confusing speech.Phillips said Biden displayed 'physical and communication decline' and that the issues are 'self-evident' as concerns about the President's age have loomed over his re-election bid.

Just before that blunder,Biden had another baffling momentduring a speech he gave in Raleigh, North Carolina where he touted the plan toconnect thousands of homes to high-speed internet.

As he spoke,he briefly got mixed upwhen he was looking to praise the state's Democratic Rep. Deborah Ross. 'Where's Deborah? I just had my picture taken with her. That’s probably why she left,' he joked at first. 'Oh, she couldn't be here, actually. That's not true. I got it mixed up,' he said, awkwardly. 'You know, she fights very hard for the people of this district and she’s up in Washington right now.'

After his speech mix-up, Biden then stopped for a sweet treat at a Cook Out restaurantwhere ordered a 'triple thick' black and white milkshake.He went on to to take selfies and talk to the restaurant workers as he was seen in pictures standing at the drive-thruas he shoveled the milkshake into his mouth.

A new survey revealed that Trump grabbed a six point lead over Biden, as the 2024 election has moved toward a potential rematch after both men prevailed in New Hampshire primaries. Trump leads Biden by 40 to 34 percentage points in the new Reuters/Ipsos poll of 1,250 adults.

Ukraine reveals $40 mn mortar shells fraud scheme

A group including senior ministry officials tried to steal money meant for munitions, according to the country’s security service

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced the uncovering of a major embezzlement scheme involvinghigh-ranking Defense Ministry officials and a private arms manufacturer.

Five suspects attempted to steal 1.5 billion hryvnia (around $39.6 million) in state funds intended for acquiring mortar shells for Ukrainian troops fighting Russia, the SBU alleged in a statement on Saturday.

According to the agency,the company Lviv Arsenal, based in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, had received an order from the Defense Ministry to provide a batch of 100,000 rounds in August 2022, six months after the outbreak of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.

Lviv Arsenal took payment of the total sum stipulated in the contract and transferred part of the funds to a foreign firm that was supposed to supply the rounds to the Ukrainian military.

However, that firm “didn’t send a single mortar shell to our country” but instead put the money in the accounts of an affiliated company “based in the Balkans,” the SBU said.

The rest of the sum still remains in Lviv Arsenal’s accounts in a Kiev-based bank, it added. The agency also published photos, which it alleged show searches at the suspects’ homes.

Those believed to have been involved in the scheme include theformer head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Department of Military and Technical Policy, Development of Armaments, and Military Equipment, Aleksandr Liiev, the department’s current head, Toomas Nakhur, as well as the founder and CEO of Lviv Arsenal, Yury Zbitnev, the SBU said.

According to the agency, one of the men had been detained by its operatives while attempting to cross the border out of Ukraine.

Facing fraud charges, the suspects face up to 12 years in prison and confiscation of property, it added.

On Friday, an appeals court in Kiev upheld a lower court decision to recover the 1.5 billion hryvnias from Lviv Arsenal in favor of the Defense Ministry due to the firm not fulfilling the contract.

TheArmed Forces of Ukraine and the Defense Ministry have been plagued by corruptionamid the conflict with Russia. In September, Ukrainian Defense Minister Aleksey Reznikov was dismissed from his post over graft allegations. His successor, Rustem Umerov, announced earlier this month that a probe he had initiatedrevealed $262 million in theft-related costs in weapons procurement.

Multiple media outlets, including RT, have also reported that arms supplied to Kiev by the US and the EUhave been sold on the black market.

US Republican leader accuses Biden of lying

The president has claimed he cannot stem the record flow of illegal immigration across the country’s southern border without the backing of Congress

US President Joe Biden does not require an act of Congress to close the country’s southern border with Mexico, House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, criticizing the president over his endorsement of the Senate’s “border deal.”

Biden can unilaterally end the record-high number of illegal crossings with executive action. He called on the president to “start by using the broad legal authority he already possesses” to “reverse the catastrophe he has created.”

Starting points could include “ending catch-and-release, ceasing exploitation of parole authority, reinstating the Remain in Mexico program, expanding the use of expedited removal authority, and renewing construction of the border wall,” Johnson continued. He noted that he had already proposed these solutions to Biden several times.

Most of Johnson’s proposed solutions involve reinstating the policies of Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, who is campaigning to return to the White House in 2024 on a platform that includes shutting down the border on day one of this presidency and deporting massive numbers of illegal aliens.

Like Johnson, Trump has ridiculed the idea that Biden needs approval from Congressto curtail the torrent of illegal immigrants flooding the US from the south. The former president argued that he didn’t require “a bill” to secure the border during his own presidency.

Biden praised the legislation on Friday as “the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country,”explaining it would give him “a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed.” He acknowledged the US-Mexico border was “broken,” affirming it was “long past time to fix it” and promising to use his new “emergency authority”immediately if the law passed.

Johnson had previously warned his Republican colleagues in a letter on Friday that the border deal would be “dead on arrival”in the House if the details being reported in the media were accurate. This would be despite if Senate Republicans greenlit the legislation. The so-called immigration deal is said to fund border enforcement in exchange for more military aid to Ukraine, which many Republican lawmakers have fiercely opposed.

According to the Washington Post, the legislative package will allow up to 5,000 illegal crossings per day before denying new arrivals access to the asylum system,equating to 150,000 unlawful crossings per month or 1.8 million per year. Migrants caught entering after this number would be immediately expelled, and asylum claims would only reopen when daily crossings fell below 3,750.

US Customs and Border Protection reported a record302,024 encounters at the US’ southern border in December 2023, with the vast majority – nearly 250,000 – occurring between ports of entry, i.e., illegally.

EU state would be right to seize Ukrainian region, MP says

Hungarian right-winger Laszlo Toroczkai said it should be done in case Ukraine loses its statehood out of conflict with Russia

Hungary should seize Ukraine’s westernmost Transcarpathia regionin case the country ceases to exist as a result of its conflict with Russia, right-wing lawmaker Laszlo Toroczkai has suggested. The leader of political party ‘Our Homeland Movement’ was referring to territory that was once a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and fell under Soviet control after World War II.

Transcarpathia remained a part of modern Ukraine after the dissolution of the USSR in 1991,retaining a considerable minority of ethnic Hungarians. Budapest has repeatedly criticized Kiev over what it has described as discrimination against this ethnic group, especially in terms of access to school education in their native language.

Speaking on Saturday, Toroczkai said: “If this war ends up with Ukraine losing its statehood,because this is also on the cards, then as the only Hungarian party taking this position, let me signal that we lay claim to Transcarpathia,”according to Reuters.

Fellow right-wingers from several other European nations, including a representative of the Alternative for Germany(AFD) party, reportedly greeted Toroczkai suggestion with applause.

Meanwhile, Romania’s Antena 3 CNN TV channel reported that Claudiu Tarziu, a lawmaker from the right-wing Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) party, had recently also called for the annexation of part of Ukraine.

“We are at a crossroads… We will not be truly sovereign until we reintegrate the Romanian state within its natural borders,” he reportedly stated.

“Northern Bucovina cannot be forgotten! Southern Bessarabia cannot be forgotten…everything that was and is of the Romanian nation must return to the borders of the same state,” the politician allegedly asserted, referring to theUkrainian region and to Moldova.

Back in September 2022, formerRomanian Foreign MinisterAndrei Marga, too, claimed that “Ukraine exists within unnatural borders.”The ex-minister suggested at the time thatKiev “should cede Transcarpathia to Hungary, Galicia to Poland, Bukovina to Romania, Donbass and Crimea to Russia.”

Ukraine is home to around 150,000 ethnic Romanians and more than 250,000 Moldovans.

Since the start of the conflict between Kiev and Moscow, several Russian politicians have claimed that neighboring countries, including Poland, have plans to annex parts of Ukraine.

(States, countries realizing Ukraine is losing and they have dibs on the regions stolen from them. Poland claims a major portion of Ukraine. We haven’t seen any Polish support since Ukraine tried to steal their farmers work and effort for Poland. It looks like all countries are distancing themselves for the shitpile catastrophe they created.)

So, what’s a speed governor? Well, it’s a device that will make sure you can’t go more than ten mph over the speed limit.And it’s San Francisco lawmakers who are championing this one. How reassuring that in a city drowning in homelessness, with streets littered with unspeakable things, a drug nightmare, rampant shoplifting, spiraling crime, and businesses making a run for it, they’re zeroing in on slightly speedy drivers as the big problem. Clearly, going slightly over the speed limit is the major threat in Northern California.

California would become the first state to require new vehicles be equipped with speed governors — technology that limits how fast they can be driven— under legislation by San Francisco state Sen. Scott Wiener.

The bill, introduced Wednesday,would require cars and trucks of the 2027 model year or laterthat are built or sold in California to include speed governors that would prohibit motorists from driving more than 10 mph over posted speed limits.

The legislation aims to address the epidemic of traffic deaths in the Bay Area and California, Wiener said. Traffic fatalities rose during the pandemic in San Francisco and nationwide, and speed factors in about a third of traffic deaths across the country, according to the National Safety Council. The National Highway Safety Administration estimated more than 40,000 traffic fatalities in 2022.

“The tragic reality is that a lot of people are being severely injured or dying on our streets in San Francisco and throughout the country, and it’s getting worse,” Wiener told the Chronicle.

“We have speed limits, and they exist for a reason. And it’s perfectly reasonable to say you can’t travel more than 10 miles over the speed limit,” Wiener said. “That’s what this bill will do. It’s very reasonable, and it’s an idea whose time has come.”

The truth is that the left’s fixation on controlling every aspect of life is hitting alarmingly new heights. It seems they’re now challenging China in the race for tyrannical overreach.

This “nanny state” scenario in California raises some serious concerns.What if you’re in a situation where you need to speed away from danger, but your car can’t go more than ten mph over the speed limit? Sure, you might stand a chance if the thug is also in a 2027 or newer car. But if they’re in an older, unrestricted model? Well, you’re probably a goner. But hey, at least you didn’t go over the speed limit, and that’s what really matters, right?

The man who broke the border says the border is broken, and he is the one to fix it. He wants the authority which he already has to 'shut down' the border 'when it becomes overwhelmed.'

Even if he used it, which he likely would not, because he hasn't used the authority he already has even if he used it, the effect would be to regularize the flow of 5,000 illegal crossers into the United States every day. Remember in the Obama years, when officials said 1,000 a day would overwhelm the system? Now Biden wants to make 5,000 a day OK, 4,999 – the new benchmark of what is acceptable. And no one should believe Biden would even enforce that. Why would Congress do such a thing?
