reagan was great…but he was old school…old boys club. there has been no better salesman for america in my lifetime than reagan but he was a little too flexible on a few constitutional issues.

on second thought, reagan probably knew nothing about it. frank was smart enough to not compromise the president and he also knew the vp 'took care' of things so he might have used a social call to the wh as cover to meet with the vp. i have a feeling reagan was kept in the dark about a whole lot of things…especially after the shooting. either kept in the dark or threatened to keep quiet.
