No, it's not distasteful to ask someone pretending to follow Jesus why they do what He said not to do. It's not praying out loud, it's praying to be seen. When you type it, it's not simply "out loud".

 

It's no different than one praying on the street corner to be seen by others.

No. It's someone pretending to be a follower of Jesus doing exactly what Jesus told us not to do, and another pretender defending it. Now you accuse me of working with others and doing a script for correcting someone which Jesus told us to do.

Praying publicly is to be seen. Typing it out is to be seen. Jesus told us how to pray. You're directly contradicting the teachings of Jesus because you think you know better.
