The lines will form a straight line not a triangle.
Explanation:
Sides of length
3
,
6
and
9
will form a straight line, not a triangle.
The reason for this is that
3
+
6
=
9
, If the three lines are drawn, the two shorter lines (
3
+
6
) will be the same as the longer line (
9
). There will be no 'height'.
For three lengths to form a triangle, the sum of two of the sides has to be more than the length of the third line.
3
,
6
,
8
or
3
,
6
,
7
will form triangles.

Student activists affiliated with the Greek Federation of Secondary Education State School Teachers (OLME) plan to protest and strike across Greece on Feb. 1. The purpose of the actions is to denounce a government proposal to establish private universities. OLME announced that the strike would commence from 11:00 until the end of the day. Organizers have only announced two specific protest sites and times; however, the OLME called on supporters to demonstrate across the country. The following planned demonstrations were announced:
Athens: Propylaea from 12:00
Thessaloniki: Arch of Galerius and Rotunda (Kamara) from 12:00
The planned gatherings are the latest in a series of protests that began in December. Similar rallies of varying sizes are also possible in cities elsewhere around the country. It remains unclear how many participants the demonstrations may draw; however, a related Jan. 11 protest in Athens reportedly had 800 attendees and ended in clashes with police.
