California Legislature Introduces Slavery Reparations Bills

The 14 different bills introduced by the state’s Legislative Black Caucus focus on a wide variety of areas that are allegedly impacted by the legacy of slavery, including education, civil rights, and criminal justice.

While none of the bills include a measure to provide direct payments to those who would qualify based on slave ancestry, there is a provision to provide financial relief to certain groups based on allegedly race-based “property takings.” Authored by State Senator Steven Bradford (D-Calif.), the bill would “restore property taken during raced-based uses of eminent domain to its original owners or provide another effective remedy where appropriate, such as restitution or compensation.”

Speaking on the lack of direct payouts, which many on the far-left have considered the ultimate end goal of reparations, Assemblywoman Lori Wilson (D-Calif.), chairwoman of the Black Caucus, gave a statement saying that “while many only associate direct cash payments with reparations, the true meaning of the word, to repair, involves much more.”

“We need a comprehensive approach to dismantling the legacy of slavery and systemic racism,” Wilson added.

While the bills are all expected to easily pass due to the Democratic supermajority in both chambers, the laws will most likely face legal challenges after Newsom signs them into law.

As a result, some lawmakers are demanding that the California State Constitution be changed to allow for such provisions to be legal. Assemblyman Corey Jackson (D-Calif.), proposed a ballot referendum that would see the state’s voters approve such changes, so that the state could implement these programs with the intention of “increasing the life expectancy of, improving educational outcomes for, or lifting out of poverty specific groups based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, or marginalized genders, sexes, or sexual orientations.”

Such race-based initiatives are facing more widespread backlash from the American public in recent years, particularly with regards to corporate diversity enforcements in the form of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Last year, the Supreme Court issued a historic ruling overturning affirmative action – the practice of race-based preferences in the admission of college students, which overwhelmingly favors minorities over White applicants – ruling that such a practice was unconstitutional.

NSW Police revealed on Friday its investigations under Strike Force Mealing had determined there was "no evidence" an anti-Semitic chant was used during the protest after initial claims the offensive phrase "gas the Jews" was chanted.

'Mob of thugs': Executive Council of Australian Jewry shut down police revelation of what pro-Palestinian protesters really shouted at Opera House

The Jewish community has hit back at claims a racist slur was not used at the "threatening" pro-Palestine protest outside the Sydney Opera House last year after Police suggested ralliers were instead chanting "where's the Jews".

However the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) has rejected the findings and claimed the Police's new theory still represented a threatening chant aimed directly at the Jewish community.

“Multiple independent witnesses have verified and declared that the ‘gas the Jews’ phrase was used. We know what we heard, and the world knows what was said," ECAJ CEO Alex Ryvchin said in a statement to SkyNews.com.

Flares were lit and thrown at the rally which sparked international outrage and gained worldwide coverage. Mr Ryvchin claimed regardless of what was said by protesters, the event was still of a threatening nature.

“However, the exact words used in these chants is not the core issue. The core issue is that on October 9, before Israel had even commenced its military response, just two days after the greatest atrocity inflicted on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, a mob of thugs gathered at one of our nation’s most cherished sites to celebrate the mass slaughter and rape of Israelis, to burn Israeli flags and to chant threateningly towards fellow Australians.

“‘Where’s the Jews’ is as bad as ‘gas the Jews’. ‘F**k the Jews’ is as dangerous and abhorrent as ‘gas the Jews’.

"This is the issue and no matter what efforts some will go to, to deflect or confuse the public, the issue was and remains violence on our streets and threats to our social cohesion.”

Fucking puppet actor wins praise of elite bankers - Kiss the ring get the shekels - NWO roll out of the new model

IMF Approves New Funds for Milei’s Argentina, Praises Ambitious Plans, Recognizes ‘Difficult Inheritance’ From Peronist Socialists

During the Presidential Elections campaign in Argentina, it was enraging to see the no-nonsense mainstream economic theories of the economist Javier Milei treated like ‘radical and dangerous ideas’, while the socialist-Peronists, whose idiotic policies put 40% of the country below the poverty line treated like ‘the sensible choice’.

So while I may not be the greatest fan of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), it is a welcome development that they openly and unambiguously support the heroic struggle by Milei to rebuild the destroyed Argentine economy.

The IMF has just approved the most recent review of its $44 billion program with Argentina – allowing for a new payment of $4.7 billion.

The fund explained that, even as key program targets were missed through the end of last year, it approved ‘waivers of non-observance’.
