So FEfaggots claim that Biblical text proves the earth is fixed and stationary, but only in certain English translations. They never think to gain correct context from the original authored language.
So, here's a little biblical lesson for FE'er shills.
1Ch 16:30
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
FIXED = Prop, To stand upright, to be erect (i.e. stand perpendicular), to establish, stable
IMMOVABLE = Comes as two words in the original Authored Hebrew Chaldee, the word immovable doesn't exist, "stable" is a closer translation to original context, it's authored as NOT (bal ืึผึทื) MOVE (mรดแนญ ืืึนื)
NOT = Thou shalt find nothing evil, to be kept in reign and bridle (re; be not as a horse)
MOVE = To Totter, to shake, To turn aside from right(eousness)
NOT MOVE = Unshakeable by Evil
Then we have two further descriptives, both Earth and World.
EARTH = Earth, in context "all the earth", meaning every living thing
WORLD = Era, period of time, eg; as in Jesus Christ saying, "My Kingdom is not of this WORLD"
Therefore, this Biblical verse is not speaking about the earth being flat and fixed in the sky, but of Gods righteous establishment of His creation, in the upright spiritual sense.
You can't cherry pick half a verse, present it outside its authored context and then claim it means something completely different. It doesn't and it makes you look either stupid or purposely deceitful.
