i agree with your semantics - BUT the point stands that this level of sealed filing activity is unheard of.
even if this represents 4000 cases (ten sealed filings per case) that's crazy caseloads.
on top of which, more than one person can be listed per indictment/filing. the paperwork levels are through the roof.
not my text - i've just seen your statement before, and want you to know that you're not 'not being heard'.
it's not technically correct to assume it's 40k indictments but we just don't know, and no matter what, it's unprecedented.
for the starts-a-discussion factor, i usually tell people it's 40k, but you do what you need to…don't let anyone tell you to be anything but you.
