Around 1.5 million Palestinians have fled other areas of Gaza to Rafah

The head of Israeli defense has declared victory over the city of Khan Younis and vowed his forces would attack Rafah next. Rafah is the last city in Gaza not completely destroyed by the ongoing Israeli military campaign. About 75 percent of the Strip’s population is currently sheltering in that city.

On Thursday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Israel was winning in Khan Younis, and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) would move on to Rafah. “We are achieving our missions in Khan Younis, and we will also reach Rafah and eliminate terror elements that threaten us,” he proclaimed.

When Israel began its military campaign in Gaza, it ordered all Palestinians to leave the northern half of the Gaza Strip. Most of the internally displaced Gazans fled to Khan Younis, the largest city in the southern half of the Strip. Now, following the IDF bombardment of the city, most residents and refugees have fled, many to Rafah.

The last remaining city and refugee camp in Gaza is Rafah, a city along the enclave’s border with Egypt. Before the war, Rafah was home to 250,000 people. Currently 1.7 million Palestinians are packed into the city. Jens Laerke, a UN spokesperson for the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, explained, “Rafah is now a pressure cooker of despair, and we fear for what happens next.”

“As soon as you arrive through Rafah, what hits you straight away is the immensity of the people who are displaced: every street, every pavement,” UN official James McGoldrick said earlier this month. “They also have these makeshift tents built onto the side of buildings encroaching on the roads. It’s very hard to move around. The place is really, really packed.”

Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting for Al-Jazeera from Rafah, said Palestinians are in disbelief at Gallant’s declaration and wondering where to go. “Now, with this statement by the Israeli defense minister, it seems they have no other place to go to,” Azzoum said, continuing, “People will not be able to find proper civil infrastructure to depend on if they return back again to these areas… It seems that we’ll have more death among civilians.”

It is unclear where Israel expects the Palestinians to go. Since the start of the conflict, the IDF has barred Palestinians from returning to areas has Israel conquered. Even if Palestinians were allowed to return, much of the infrastructure has been destroyed. Haaretz reports the IDF has even ordered soldiers to burn Palestinian homes to the ground when they withdraw from an area.

Gallant has claimed that Israel needs to attack Rafah to rescue hostages held by Hamas. “The great pressure that the forces exert on Hamas targets brings us closer to the return of the abductees, more than anything else,” he said. “We will continue until the end, there is no other way.”

FOIA Documents Reveal Government Officials Notified of Election Fraud in Michigan Following Election Day in 2020

In July 2023, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D-MI) charged 16 Republican Electors with political crimes in connection with the controversial 2020 Presidential election.

The ALTERNATE electors in Michigan, many of them senior citizens, were charged with eight felonies each, which could mean spending the rest of their lives in prison if AG Nessel has her way.

Each of the 16 defendants was charged with the following felonies:

One count of Conspiracy to Commit Forgery, a 14-year felony,

Two counts of Forgery, a 14-year felony,

One count of Conspiracy to Commit Uttering and Publishing, a 14-year felony,

One count of Uttering and Publishing, a 14-year felony,

One count of Conspiracy to Commit Election Law Forgery, a 5-year felony, and,

Two counts of Election Law Forgery, a 5-year felony.

During her staged press release where she announced the bogus charges against the 16 GOP electors, Michigan’s politically motivated Attorney General Dana Nessel stated the electors were GUILTY, which is a curious statement to make from Michigan’s top law enforcement officer, knowing the electors haven’t even had their day in court!

Make no mistake, this is a political persecution, not a prosecution.

The defendants, acting on evidence that the election in their State had likely been stolen after the bizarre early morning spike in votes for Joe Biden, submitted an ALTERNATE slate of electoral votes alternative for President Trump to the Electoral College.

Michigan’s lawless attorney general would like the people of Michigan to believe that the electors had “no reason” to believe that the election was anything but “the most secure election in history.”

Yet she herself was fully aware that in OCTOBER, a month before the 2020 election, a full-scale investigation involving the Muskegon Police Department, MI State Police, lead investigators from the Attorney General’s office, and MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s office was underway, involving over ten thousand voter registrations turned in by one individual at the city clerk’s office Muskegon, MI.

Once it was discovered that the voter fraud operation spanned several states, the FBI took over the investigation. According to the Michigan State Police Lieutenant in charge of the investigation, he believes the FBI is still investigating the false voter registration scam, which is still ongoing.

Curiously, AG Nessel, who claimed the MI GOP electors knew there was no path to victory for Donald J. Trump because there were no successful election fraud lawsuits or evidence of widespread voter fraud in the state of Michigan, neglected to mention the ongoing multi-city, turned multi-state, voter registration fraud investigation that her own department was involved with that began ONE MONTH before the 2020 election.

Now, there is even more evidence that Dana Nessel knew about election fraud in the 2020 election in Michigan, and she hid this from the public in the Wolverine State.

Investigative journalist Yehuda Miller obtained documents from Michigan through a FOIA request and shared the initial release on Twitter-X on Thursday evening. Department of Justice officials knew on November 5, 2020, two days after the election, that there was a very serious accusation of voter fraud reported at the TCF Center in Detroit from election night.

Iranian IRGC Commanders Go Into Hiding As Biden Admin Continues To Leak Details Of Alleged Retaliatory Strikes: Reports

Commanders in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) — a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) — have reportedly gone into hiding in Iraq and Syria after President Joe Biden’s administration have repeatedly leaked their alleged plans to launch retaliatory strikes against those responsible for murdering three U.S. soldiers and wounding dozens more over the weekend.

CBS News reported that Biden officials confirmed to the network “that plans have been approved for a series of strikes over a number of days against targets — including Iranian personnel and facilities — inside Iraq and Syria.”

Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin, who has a pro-Biden slant to her reporting, responded to CBS’s report by noting that “all of those IRGC commanders have already left Syria and gone into hiding leaving those bases.”

“The Pentagon usually does not telegraph so much if it wants the element of surprise,” she added.

The Biden administration further sought to diminish Iran’s role in the more than 160 Iranian-backed terrorist attacks against U.S. forces in the region over the last few months, telling Politico that they don’t believe Tehran has full control of the terrorist groups that it funds.

Politico said that the “disclosure” by the Biden administration, which was mocked online by policy experts, “could lower the chance of the U.S. getting pulled into a direct confrontation with Iran.”

“Full control is irrelevant,” said policy expert Norman Roule. “Tehran has the capacity to choke off weapons to militias and highly likely the ability to halt action by major groups that rely upon Tehran for significant financial and political support.”

Politico also reported that the Biden administration blames Israel for Iranian-backed terrorist groups attacking U.S. forces, saying that if Israel stopped trying to kill Hamas terrorists inside Gaza who carried out the October 7 terrorist attack, “there would at least be a tactical pause in the region by all Iran-backed groups.”

Secretary of State Lloyd Austin was asked on Thursday about IRGC commanders fleeing back to Iran to avoid being killed by U.S. forces.

“Has there been too much telegraphing, or is the point not to kill any Iranian commanders?” a reporter asked.

“In terms of telegraphing about strikes and whether or not people leave or would have left, you know, I won’t speculate on any of that,” Austin said. “I will just tell you that, you know, we will have a multi-tiered response, and again, we have the ability to respond in a number of times depending on what the situation is.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) slammed the Biden administration on Thursday for tipping off Iran and its terrorist groups on the U.S. Military’s planned response, saying that it was a reflection of “Biden’s policy of fear and appeasement and conciliation.”

“Just like with Ukraine and before that with Afghanistan, he’s scared of his own shadow,” Cotton said. “He keeps worrying about escalation. What we saw over the weekend was a massive escalation by Iran. The only way to solve that threat is to directly target Iran’s terrorist forces throughout the region and in Iran itself, to make it clear that we will never tolerate the deaths of our fellow Americans.”
