how do you figure you would be invited to the meeting where they discussed what to do with it? or even hear about it in the first place?
no i'm just saying, no one knew about the ring except the people in the meeting in rivendell, so if you're gonna compare it to that, then i'm saying you (or me) wouldn't even know what the ring IS much less if we have it or if we're gonna get it
