please note:
as far as the Catholic Church is concerned a same sex relationship that involves sexual activity has to be a sinful one as sex is reserved for procreation. That is why I say it is 'sinful'.
And while it's OK in some circle for people of the same sex to have relationships, the Catholic Church sees it as mortal sin to hook up and have sex with someone of the same gender.
so the blessing would have to be of a 'same sex' relationship in which the couple are celibate, which is a bit far fetched.
