Is there a not so subtle message embedded in this Truth?
How would a D Trump get/maintain both D and R support in Congress? The D's would dump him as soon as his actions became contrary to D party group-think.
How would he have gotten the nomination in the first place (see RFK Jr as example)???
As I remember, Trump pretty much maintained himself as an independent before the presidential run, in order to help him keep doing business in NY. He chose the R party as at the time he was getting ready to run, the R party represented his personal views more closely.
