Back in 2009, leaked documents in the “Climategate Scandal” revealed the climate change scam to be exactly what many suspected – a massive scam, the Gateway Pundit reported on this scandal extensively when the reports first broke.

Christopher Booker of the Telegraph back in 2009 slammed the climate alarmists. He claimed the climate emergency was non-existent.

Dr. Michael Mann, the scientist who co-authored a famous graph of temperature trends known as the “hockey stick graph,” was implicated in the 2009 global warming email scandal, which the Gateway Pundit reported on at the time.

In 2017, as The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Dr. Michael Mann committed contempt of court in what was then dubbed the “climate science trial of the century”.

Dr. Mann defied the judge presiding over the case and refused to surrender his data for “open court examination”. This is a routine practice for scientific studies to determine if the results will stand up against examination. But Dr. Mann refused to turn over his data.

Principia Scientific noted the following:

“Only possible outcome: Mann’s humiliation, defeat and likely criminal investigation in the U.S.”

79-year-old Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball is the defendant in the libel trial and told his attorneys to “trigger mandatory punitive court sanctions, including a ruling that Mann did act with criminal intent when using public funds to commit climate data fraud”.

Back in 2017 scientists knew the defeat of Dr. Mann would only vindicate President Donald Trump in his claims that climate change is a hoax. The graph below from Principia Scientific shows “Mann’s cherry-picked version of science [that] makes the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) disappear and shows a pronounced upward ’tick’ in the late 20th century” – this is the blade of Mann’s now infamous “hockey stick”.

Below Mann’s graph is Ball’s, which uses much more reliable and easily attainable public data, accurately showing a significantly warmer Medieval Warm Period with temperatures that are drastically hotter than the modern day’s.

In 2019 the court case against Dr. Tim Ball was decided by the Supreme Court of British Columbia, with Mann’s case thrown out, and him ordered to pay the defendant’s legal costs, no doubt a tidy sum of money.

Dr. Gregory Poland, the director of Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group, has called for more rigorous detection of vaccine adverse events after suffering a COVID-19 vaccine adverse event.

“While vaccines have an overwhelmingly positive safety profile, it’s essential to address concerns about potential adverse events comprehensively and compassionately,” Dr. Poland and his co-author Dr. Steve Black of the Global Vaccine Data Network wrote in their commentary published in the journal Vaccine.

“Some of these reactions are immediate and easily observable or measurable … Others however are not immediately obvious, or are even clinically ‘silent’ or cryptic, making them challenging to identify and link directly to a vaccine.”

Dr. Poland, the lead author, suffered from what he deemed a “cryptic” adverse event.

In 2021, soon after his second Moderna shot, Dr. Poland was driving back from the clinic when he suddenly heard a whistling sound in his ears.

“It was like someone suddenly blew a dog whistle in my ear,” he told MedPage Today. “It has been pretty much unrelenting.”

He has since attributed his tinnitus to the COVID-19 vaccine and become vocal in advocating for better vaccine adverse event surveillance programs.

“It is critical to be vigilant about rare, silent, or subtle reactions. Public health agencies and healthcare providers can play a much more favorable and vital role in establishing vaccine trust by enlarging the current vaccine safety paradigm,” Dr. Poland wrote.

Bell to lay off 9% of its workforce, citing CRTC regulations

Bell Media’s parent company is slashing 9% of its workforce, placing much of the blame on a recent decision by the tribunal that regulates and supervises broadcasting and telecommunications in Canada.

The cuts have resulted in Bell Media terminating multiple television newscasts, other programming cuts, and the sale of 45 of its 103 regional radio stations. A total of 4,800 employees will be affected.

The company also announced plans to close 107 The Source stores while starting a partnership with Best Buy Canada to operate the remaining stores, rebranded as Best Buy Express.

Mirko Bibic, President and CEO of Bell Canada Enterprises, wrote an open letter to Bell employees.

“We continue to face a difficult economy and government and regulatory decisions that undermine investment in our networks, fail to support our business in a time of crisis, and fail to level the playing field with global tech giants,” he said. “Of particular concern is a recent decision by the CRTC forcing Bell to provide third party resellers access to our high-speed fibre network before we have even had an opportunity to recoup our multi-billion dollar investment.”

Bibic added that Bell continues to incur $40 million in annual operating losses despite having the most-watched network of local TV stations. He added that Bell’s transformation requires it to move away from highly regulated areas where demand and revenue are declining.

The Montreal-based telecom behemoth reported a 23% decline in fourth-quarter profits, which fell to $435 million. Despite the downturn, the company aims to achieve savings between $150 million to $200 million in 2024 through these restructuring measures. Continue…

Quebec City residents were barred from using wood-burning stoves and fireplaces for two days as the city implemented a temporary ban due to deteriorating air quality.

“The City of Quebec will prohibit the use of all solid-fuel-burning appliances throughout its territory from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, until the lifting of this notice,” the municipality said in a post on X.

The city lifted the ban on Friday at6 a.m.

Responding to the city’s post to X, one resident raised his concerns.

“A notice is not a law. The end. Do not comply! Don’t be an accomplice to abuse through ignorance,” wrote the user, in a mix of both official languages.

The city responded to the citizen on its X post.

“The notice stems from a bylaw adopted by Quebec City. Since September 2021, when a smog issue is issued for Quebec City, it is forbidden to use any solid-fuel heating appliance… including all types of fireplaces, even if certified. First-time offenders are liable to a fine of $300 to $1,000.”

At one point during the interview, Vladimir Putin discussed the open US border with Mexico.

Putin asked Tucker Carlson why America was fighting for Ukraine’s border and refusing to defend it’s own border?

The far left American media was outraged that Tucker Carlson would sit with Vladimir Putin and hold an open conversation about Russia and the West.

Former British Prime Minister was outraged that Tucker would perform actual journalism. The failed prime minister labeled Tucker Carlson a “traitor” for holding the interview.

Wow. That’s a bit dramatic.
