The Telegraph reports that the journal Frontiers in Cell and Development Biology published a paper that claimed to show the signalling pathway of sperm stem cells, but depicted a rat sitting upright with a massive dick and four giant testicles.

The illustration was reportedly created by using Midjourney, the AI imaging tool, which added labels to the ridiculous diagram using terms that don’t exist, including “dissilced”, “testtomcels” and “senctolic”.

Another ludicrous image to the right of the rat displays “sterrn cells” in a Petri dish being spooned out.

Subsequent images in the paper also displayed terms and biological systems that simply are not real.

Remarkably, the paper found its way into the journal, where it was read by scientists who immediately recognised the images and descriptions were not grounded in “any known biology”.

“The Trudeau government has just given up on its promise of openness and accountability,” Plett told the National Post. “In this specific situation, we had to go around roadblocks that were set by the government to get an answer to my questions three years ago.”

“Somebody needs to be held accountable for this because we have the right to have these answers,” added Plett.

The documents reveal that CBC’s combined legal fees amounted to $359,971.34 with no additional expenses.

The Archdiocese of Montreal is suing the government of Quebec over a law passed in 2023 that would force Catholic hospices to commit assisted suicide, contrary to the Fifth Commandment and Catholic teaching.

At the heart the legal challenge is operation of a palliative care home in Montreal, St. Raphael’s Nursing Home, a former parish of the archdiocese, which opened in 2019 and presently offers 12 beds and day care, free of charge. The property is owned by the archdiocese and is rented out at $1/year under a 100-year lease, on the express condition that St. Raphael’s provides palliative care without ever committing euthanasia.

At the time, Quebec law allowed hospices to refrain from offering assisted suicide, called euphemistically “Medical Aid in Dying” (MAID), on their own premises. However, on June 7, 2023, an amendment to the “Act Respecting End-of-life Care” passed, requiring hospices to commit assisted suicide upon request. The law, LQ 2023, c.15, contained no religious or conscientious objection exemption clause and took effect December 7, 2023.

Scandal-plagued Vatican Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio called for “permanent” discussions between Catholics and Freemasons when he addressed a joint Catholic-Masons conference last week.

The cardinal’s speech, segments of which were reported by Il Messagero, was delivered during a meeting organized in Milan with the head of Italy’s leading Masonic lodge, Grand Orient Grand Master Stefano Bisi, joining Coccopalmerio and Milan Archbishop Mario Delpini.

“From what I could understand, but I am little expert in this matter, I think there is an evolution in mutual understanding” of relations between Catholics and Masons, Coccopalmerio was reported as stating on March 16. “Fifty years ago, there was less understanding, but things have moved on, and I hope these encounters don’t stop there. I wonder if we cannot think of a permanent table, even at the level of authorities, so that we can better confront each other.”

The event, organized by the Socio-Religious Research and Information Group (GRIS) and called “historic” by Bisi, was closed to the media, reportedly a condition given by Archbishop Delpini to the organizers for him to agree to be present.

The Catholic Church has consistently and firmly forbidden Catholics from joining the Freemasons, which was restated by the Vatican in recent weeks. Pope Clement XII’s 1739 papal bull, In Eminenti, judged Freemasonry so serious a matter, and membership in it so dangerous, that he imposed an automatic excommunication, latae sententiae, on any Catholic who joined the Freemasons. A recent small claims court decision found Air Canada liable for incorrect advice given by its website chatbot that led to a grieving customer paying more for plane tickets. Incredibly, the airline argued that its AI chatbot is “a separate legal entity responsible for its own actions.”

CBC reports that Jake Moffatt was looking to book last-minute plane tickets from British Columbia to Toronto after the death of his grandmother. While on Air Canada’s website, he used the customer service chatbot to ask about getting bereavement fares and the AI chatbot advised that if Moffatt booked full-price tickets immediately, he could submit a refund application within 90 days to get the cheaper bereavement rate.

Trusting this advice, Moffatt booked tickets for a total of $1,630. However, after completing the trip, Air Canada informed him that bereavement discounts don’t apply retroactively to already-purchased tickets. When Moffatt complained and showed a screenshot of the chatbot’s guidance, an Air Canada rep admitted the chatbot had provided “misleading words” but said the company had updated the system.

Unhappy with this resolution, Moffatt took Air Canada to small claims court. In a legal filing, Air Canada argued argued that its chatbot is “a separate legal entity responsible for its own actions.” But adjudicator Christopher Rivers called this “a remarkable submission,” stating that Air Canada owns its website and chatbot. Regina police press charges for church arson

Video footage and a week-long investigation led Regina police to arrest and lay arson charges regarding a church fire.

Jordan Willet, 31, was arrested at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, February 16. He is charged with:

Arson with Disregard for Human Life [433)(A)];

Disguise with Intent [351(2)]; and

2 x Fail to Comply with Probation Order [733.1(1)].

Willet will make his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, February 20 at 9:30 a.m. The court information is #991259492.
