The Book of Giants is actually next on my reading list.

The Phoenicians are a key player and I believe they were the original sea-faring merchants that were lucky enough to be on ships during the flood. Gave them a head start that they took advantage of.

My problem with Tartaria is were they good or bad. They seemed over the top indulgent with resources so I can't help but wonder if that is why they were lost to time.

American history is not what it seems but it's very difficult to find the truth. At best we can only speculate.

Many legends overlap many cultures so the crossovers don't surprise me. As for the churches, I believe they were created with the sole intention of raping and pillaging in the name of god.

If you want to read something interesting go read The conquest of Mexico by Prescott. 1841 I think. He speaks of how the Aztec priests used religious 'schools' to indoctrinate the children to serve them. Pretty much the same playbook as today.

My calendar (and no I can't explain it without ridicule) shows ++ on Jan 30th. I even commented that I was expecting a royal death or taking the royal out of the triangle.

Could just be a coincidence.
