METHANE GAS
Forgive me if I haven't been paying attention to the green new bullshit, but I just read something I did not know.
Did you know methane gas can be burned(like any gas , yes I knew that).
Sewer processing facilities can burn it up so that it can produce electricity.
Enough electricity that it can benefit the cities involved. In the article, it seems the plant involved in the story about an upgrade to an old plant, that the people are almost giddy about it.
So now, the last I read about methane gas is that it is so bad we need to kill all cattle. Kill most people, so that a few people and the planet can survive.
The way I think about is that all actual bullshit can be collected. It can be composted. The gas collected from it. Then, when the composting is finished, the remaining product is a natural fertilizer which can be used.
We can have our beef and electricity and fertilizer too!

McGrath said there will be many benefits for the community and environment once the upgrade is complete. “We’ll have much cleaner water going into the San Luis Obispo Creek. The ability to produce recycled water is greatly enhanced. The potential to produce electricity will be greatly enhanced,” said McGrath.
The solids that come to the facility are converted into methane gas and then turned into electricity, thanks to new technology on-site.
“It’s now producing more methane gas than we ever have in our entire history,” said McGrath.
McGrath said he appreciates people’s patience when it comes to their sense of smell because it will benefit the entire community in the long run.

It seems to me, methane can be a great resource instead of something to hate and kill animals and humans over.
