George Santos trolls GOP over ouster after failed Mayorkas impeachment: 'Miss me yet?'

The House last year expelled Santos from the chamber in the wake of a damning House Ethics Committee report.

Former New York Republican Rep. George Santos on Tuesday gloated over his former colleagues in the House GOP after the vote to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas narrowly failed.

The final tally was 214-216, though Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, changed his vote to allow Republicans to bring the measure up again at a later date. Santos, for his part, posted an image of the House floor with the vote tally at 215-215 with the caption "Miss me yet?"

Had Santos still been in Congress, his vote could have proved decisive.

Senateā€™s illegal-alien amnesty bill will crush this country

America is stupid and weak under Biden's leadership

How about this for an immigration bill: Shut the damn border and immediately deport the millions of illegals that have invaded our nation at the invitation of the Biden regime.

The proposed Senate bill is certainly not that. It is nothing more than amnesty for the parade of scofflaws numbering as many as 8 million that have flooded across our borders illegally since President Biden took office.

Securing our southern border is not difficult. I was there in the Oval Office when then-President Donald Trump came up with a brilliant idea that effectively closed much of our southern border in a matter of days. My old boss turned to White House legal counsel Pat Cipollone and me and said, how about we put stiff tariffs on Mexico until they agree to deploy troops to the border and adopt a ā€œsafe third nationā€ deal that will keep illegals on their side. Can we do that?

Yes, I said. The president can impose such tariffs without legal question as border security is both an economic and national security issue. And Pat agreed.

Mr. Trump announced tariffs on Mexico that same day, and heads exploded at CNN and MSNBC for a solid 24-hour news cycle. Shortly thereafter, Mexico did indeed rush thousands of troops to the border, and the United States got its safe third nation deal.

But thatā€™s not the end of the story. Mr. Trump then turned his National Security Council loose on Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Their leaders quickly also adopted safe third nation agreements as well. With that stroke of policy genius, he stopped the hemorrhaging across our border.

Now, hereā€™s the buried lead: One of the first acts Mr. Biden took upon taking office was to repeal Mr. Trumpā€™s safe third nation agreements. That reckless act alone would thereby unleash the unprecedented border crisis we are facing.

Memo to an outraged American electorate: The Senate bill will do virtually nothing to stop illegal immigration, only regulate its flow.

The Senate bill will also impose yet more direct and indirect costs on taxpayers to pay for, among other things, the legal fees of illegals. This is at a time when Mr. Biden is already draining our middle class dry while mortgaging our childrenā€™s future with his profligate ā€œwokeā€ spending bills.

Make no mistake about this: You cannot let 8 million illegals into this country in less than four years without doing lasting damage to the economic and national security of this country.

Fun fact: Mr. Bidenā€™s illegal immigrant hordes represent more than the populations of Idaho, North and South Dakota, Rhode Island, Montana, and Liz Cheneyā€™s Wyoming combined. Or does Ms. Cheney live in Virginia? Did I mention that Black children in Bostonā€™s Roxbury section canā€™t use their gymnasium and recreation center anymore because itā€™s been confiscated to house Mr. Bidenā€™s illegals? All politics is indeed local.

Of course, itā€™s bad enough that a large percentage of Mr. Bidenā€™s army of illegals doesnā€™t speak English and is poorly educated. These illiterates are flooding our labor markets at the low end and thereby putting enormous pressure on American Blacks, Hispanics, and rural Whites already struggling to make ends meet in low-wage jobs. This is not conjecture: You can see it all in the government data.

Itā€™s worse that many illegals are part of broader human trafficking and drug rings, and itā€™s not just the Mexican cartels that are involved. Young women and children from all over the world are being trafficked into the United States and abused on our soil in the most ungodly and depraved acts imaginable.

It is untenable that the United States is being inundated with all manner of deadly and addictive drugs entering on the backs and in the stomachs and anal cavities of immigrant ā€œmules.ā€ The worst of these poisons is Chinese fentanyl, which is killing 50,000 Americans a year, many of whom are young students or in the prime of their lives.

Did I mention that the dictator Xi Jinping and his merry band of Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks canā€™t believe how stupid and weak we are as a nation under Mr. Bidenā€™s rule?

Worst of all, Mr. Biden, the Democratic Party, and the RINOs of our despicable Congress are importing all manner of national security and existential threats with their open border policies. These threats include hardened soldiers of radical Islam, many of whom are on the terrorist watchlist. There are Chinese soldiers infiltrating in civilian clothes, preparing to embed as sleeper cells until China triggers a war with the U.S. over anything from trade to Taiwan. And letā€™s not forget all the cyber criminals, spies and sappers from Russia and Eastern Europe now setting up shop on American soil, stealing and ransoming us blind.

This is beyond insanity. It is all the more crazy given that the Senate wants to bundle the single greatest domestic threat facing us ā€” a blown-open border ā€” with an aid package to Ukraine.

Memo to Mike Johnson: Draw a red line in the sand as House speaker, and donā€™t give an inch. Our economy, our culture, our political, public health, and education systems, our families and public safety, and our national security are at stake.

Call to action to every American citizen: Now is the time to call your congressman and senator and tell them you want a sealed border. And yes, elections do indeed have consequences ā€” in this case, catastrophic ones.

Voting Group Founded by Stacey Abrams Lays Off Most Employees Amid Steep Fall from Grace

By George C. Upper III, The Western Journal Feb. 1, 2024 6:00 pm424 Comments

Another political advocacy group has demonstrated the principle that leftists sometimes donā€™t understand how money works in the real world.

This time, it was Fair Fight, the group founded by two-time failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate and famed election denier Stacey Abrams in 2018.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the organization is $2.5 million in debt but has only $1.9 million in the bank.

ā€œThe organizationā€™s voting rights, media, fundraising and grassroots organizing efforts will be slashed, and it will pare back its use of outside consultants and vendors,ā€ the outlet reported.

Moreover, most of the organizationā€™s actual employees will be unemployed in the immediate future.

How a Properly Managed Gold IRA Can Be Your Perfect Backup if You-Know-What Hits The Fan

ā€œSome 20 employees ā€” or 75% of the staff ā€” will be cut,ā€ the Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

Assuming that math is correct, Fair Fight will have a total five employees after the layoffs are complete.

The New York Times noted that the organization had raised about $100 million from its founding through 2021, but lost court battles have led to expenses mounting up.

The Times called Fair Fight ā€œa prominent liberal group that was once a fund-raising powerhouse for Democrats,ā€ but noted no achievements or court wins by the organization.

Fundraising may have been one of the groupā€™s strengths, but so, apparently, was fund spending.

In 2021, Fair Fight had sued right-leaning True the Vote, a group that had challenged the eligibility of 250,000 registered voters that it wanted removed from voter rolls.

It claimed that the groupā€™s real intention was to keep legal Democrats from the polls before the tight Georgia Senate runoff elections in 2020, according to the Times.

A federal court, however, decided last month that the Abrams-founded group was wrong about that claim, but only after both sides had generated legal expenses for nearly three years.

Almost exactly a year prior to that, another suit, one that took four years to resolve, was finally decided ā€” also in favor of Fair Fightā€™s opponent, this time the state of Georgia.

In that case, Fair Fight was ordered to pay ā€œnearly $193,000 for trial and deposition transcripts and over $38,000 for copies of thousands of exhibits,ā€ according to the Journal-Constitution.

ā€œThis is a win for taxpayers and voters who knew all along that Stacey Abramsā€™ voter suppression claims were false,ā€ Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said at the time. ā€œIt has never been easier to vote and harder to cheat in the state of Georgia.ā€

ā€œThis is a start,ā€ he added, ā€œbut I think Stacey Abrams should pay back the millions of taxpayer dollars the state was forced to spend to disprove her false claims.ā€

Unfortunately for Georgia taxpayers, Fair Fight no longer appears to have the funds available for such a repayment.

ā€˜Letā€™s Not Argue About Stupid Thingsā€™: Bill Maher Tells Chris Sununu That Trump Has Nomination Locked Up

Comedian Bill Maher said former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has no shot of winning the Republican nomination to her top surrogateā€™s face during Fridayā€™s ā€œReal Time with Bill Maher.ā€

Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu said former President Donald Trump does not have the nomination locked up yet but Maher and panelist Jessica Tarlov both responded he does. Maher was so confident about this that he offered to make a bet with the governor with 100 to 1 odds.

Chris Sununu simping for Nikki Haley, literally pounding the table for her as heā€™s being ignored like a misplaced child at the adultā€™s table

Maher: ā€œLetā€™s deal in reality. Nikki Haley is not going to be the nominee, itā€™s going to be Trump. Letā€™s not argue about stupid thingsā€ā€¦ pic.twitter.com/nktm13wdb3

ā€œAll [Trump] cares about securing the nomination,ā€ Sununu asserted.

ā€œHe has the nomination,ā€ Tarlov responded.

Sununu said Trump does not and mentioned Nikki Haley is still competing for it.

ā€œNikki Haley. Nikki Haley 2024. I mean it,ā€ Sununu said, pounding the table.

The four-term governor endorsed Haley a month ahead of New Hampshireā€™s first-in-the-nation primary but she lost to Trump as he won over 50% of the vote.

ā€œLetā€™s deal in reality,ā€ Maher said. ā€œFirst of all, Nikki Haleyā€™s not going to be the nominee, itā€™s going to be Trump. Letā€™s not argue about stupid things.ā€

Sununu protested, saying Maher was discounting the voters and that many have still not voted.

ā€œThe voters do matter and theyā€™re voting for Trump overwhelmingly,ā€ Maher responded.

ā€œIā€™ll bet you 100 to 1,ā€ Maher said after Sununu continued to push back. The governor did not say if he would take the bet.

ā€œIā€™m not saying itā€™s not a big mountain to climb,ā€ Sununu acknowledged.

Trump Will Win

The fundamentals simply do not favor Biden.

So, who really believes Joe Biden and his running dogs in the liberal media when they say things are actually OK? What tiny percentage of Americans are they talking to?

Gloom consumes America. Some 73 percent of respondents say the United States is on the wrong track, the highest portion since 1989, when that polling question was first asked. In similar polls, thereā€™s been a prolonged downward trend in Americansā€™ satisfaction with the direction of the country, from a peak of 71 percent in 1999 to just 22 percent today. Bidenā€™s 39 percent approval is the lowest of any president running for a second term a year out from the election. Inflation hit 8.9 percent. The cost of rent and food rose two or three times as much as incomes.

Truth be damned. A whole intellectual industry has developed to support Joe, making excuses as to why the dumb Americans in the heartland donā€™t see the glories of Bidenomics. The industry has come up with three explanations. Letā€™s see if they make sense.

Itā€™s the Media, Stupid. This is part of a bigger problem, presupposing most of the American interior is made of dummies who believe everything they hear on places like talk radio. Never mind kitchen table economics; itā€™s all in your head, idiot.

Referral Syndrome. This hypothesis comes from the Wall Street Journal, which speculates Americans see so many mass shootings, so much immigration chaos, so many overdose deaths, and proxy wars they simply feel bad about everything (which, economy aside, does not bode well for the incumbent). So when pollsters ask their views on the economy, they get a negative response, because people just feel overwhelmingly negative.

Fatalism. Pretending the economy is just dandy wouldnā€™t be complete with some candy from Paul Krugman. The New York Timesā€™ resident soothsayer claims all is well if only you could see things from the perspective of a rich New Yorker who writes gibberish for a living. Krugman also postulates Trump supporters who believe Biden stole the 2020 election are so apocalyptic they skew the whole nationā€™s outlook on other issues.

While the inflation rate may be decl

Why Rank-and-File Teamsters Love Trump

Last week, Donald Trump met with the Teamsters Union to seek their endorsement. This was in itself a significant development, since, as Politico notes, ā€œthe Teamsters have not done an endorsement interview process with candidates from both parties or independents before.ā€ Although the Teamsters endorsed Ronald Reagan twice and George H.W. Bush once, in the three decades since then they have backed Democratic candidates in every presidential election. Given the general alignment of unions with the Democrats, it is unusual both for them to grant a Republican contender an interview and for that contender to seek one.

Trumpā€™s possible rapprochement with a union that endorsed his opponents in the previous two presidential cycles is a sign of the larger realignment happening in American politics. For generations, the working class voted for Democrats, which was seen as the party of labor, while the GOP was the party of the affluent, of big business and tax cuts. But over the past 40 years, the Democrats became the party of the credentialed elites and the dependent poorā€”and increasingly, of the wealthy. Data from the 2022 midterm elections showed that 9 out of the 10 wealthiest congressional districts are now represented by Democrats, while the GOP now holds 64 percent of districts with median incomes below the national median.

Trump won in 2016 in part by flipping working-class votes in the solidly Democratic Rust Belt, and increasingly has a lock on working-class voters of all races. By seeking the endorsement of the Teamsters, the GOP frontrunner is attempting to consolidate his status as the candidate of the working class. Party donation data back up his claim. In 2020, Bloomberg found that truckers, plumbers, machinists, painters, and construction workersā€”many of whom are Teamstersā€”were among the occupations most likely to donate to Trump. Meanwhile, Biden got the lionā€™s share of writers and authors, editors, therapists, business analysts, h.r. staff, andā€”yesā€”bankers.

Donald Trump Backed by Texans to Secure Border

The Redfield & Wilton Strategy poll showed that two-thirds of voters in Texas agree that the Lone Star state is facing a migrant crisis at the moment, including 42 percent who "strongly agree" with the sentiment.

More than half (54 percent) also said they either agree or strongly agree with Abbott's assessment that Texas is under an "invasion" from migrants illegally crossing the southern border. Around the same amount of voters (55 percent) in Texas voters agree with Abbott's assertion that Texas has constitutional authority to protect and defend itself.

The poll also showed that 57 percent of Texans believe that the U.S. doesn't have control over the border between Texas and Mexico, with 57 percent of these people blaming the federal government for the lack of control, compared to 28 percent who say the government and the Texas state government share equal blame.

Trump's office and the White House have been contacted for comment via email.

At a recent speech in Las Vegas, Trump praised Abbott for the border security battle with the Biden administration, while agreeing with the governor that Texas is under an "invasion."

"When I'm president, instead of trying to send Texas a restraining order, I will send them reinforcements," Trump said. "Instead of fighting border states, I will use every resource tool and authority of the U.S. president to defend the United States of America from this horrible invasion that is taking place right now."

The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey was conducted with 814 eligible voters in Texas on February 1-3.

What Happens in Vegas Doesnā€™t Stay in Vegas- the Nevada Caucus Proves Trump Is Brilliant, Nikki Is Not, and the GOP Nomination is Over

By Wayne Allyn Root

Very few people outside Nevadaā€¦even the mainstream mediaā€¦even political talking headsā€¦even so-called ā€œexpertsā€ on Fox News or CNN or MSNBCā€¦have ever really understood whatā€™s about to happen this week in Nevada, and why.

As Iā€™ve said for weeks nowā€¦

Trump will win Nevada by a landslideā€¦and win every single Nevada delegate for the RNC convention.

Nikki Haley will get shut out in Nevada. She will get humiliated. She will get nothing. As in zip. Zilch. Nada. Zero.

Literally nothing.

But few outsiders understand why. Itā€™s all because poor Nikki and her team picked the wrong election in Nevada. There is a GOP primary on Tuesday February 6th. And there is a GOP Caucus 48 hours later on Thursday February 8th. One counts. The other does not. Guess which one Nikki chose?

ā€œBirdbrainā€ chose the wrong one. The meaningless one. The one that doesnā€™t count.

For all you non-Nevadans, let me explain this confusing scenario. The Nevada legislature is controlled by corrupt Democrats. They decided the GOP had to have a primary on Feb 6th.

But the Nevada GOP didnā€™t want a primary run by the DC Swamp, with no Voter ID, mail-in voting, and the potential for Democrats to cross over and steal the GOP nomination.

So, the Nevada GOP decided to hold a GOP Caucus on February 8thā€“ only two days after the primary. In this GOP Caucus you cannot vote by mailā€¦you must vote in personā€¦ and you must show Voter ID. This is the way elections used to be: secure, fair and honest. And if any election is secure, we all know one thing is guaranteedā€¦

Trump wins.

Confusing? Sure. Nevada has two GOP elections within 48 hours. But, everyone running for president understood the rules and the optionsā€¦

*You could only choose one.

*The primary is meaningless. No delegates will be awarded. It is a ā€œbig fat nothing burger.ā€

*The Caucus is everything- ā€œthe whole enchilada.ā€ Every delegate for the GOP presidential nomination will be awarded by the Caucus.

*But you could not run in both.

*And to make it even more significant and meaningful, and weed out candidates with no chance to win, the Caucus required a fee of $55,000.

Everyone understood only the Caucus counted.

Anonymous ID: 97c075 Feb. 6, 2024, 5:59 p.m. No.20369880   šŸ—„ļø.is šŸ”—kun   >>9951 >>0046 >>0131 >>0178 >>0201

>>20369876

So, whoā€™d be dumb enough to choose the primary? Only Nikki Haley. You know, the one Trump calls ā€œbirdbrain.ā€ Once again, his nickname proved right on the money. Thatā€™s why Trump is the king of branding.

Both DeSantis and Vivek entered the Caucus. Score one for those guys! They (or their campaign teams) actually read and understood the rules.

But since both DeSantis and Vivek have both dropped out of the presidential race, that leaves Trump alone in the Caucus. Which means President Trump will win 100% of the delegates in Nevada on Thursday.

Guaranteed.

Which is what Iā€™ve been trying to explain to everyone on my national TV and radio showsā€¦and in my newspaper columnsā€¦for many weeks. This outcome has been crystal clear- to anyone who understood the process. But no one in the media outside of Nevada understood what I was saying.

What happens in Vegas, doesnā€™t stay in Vegas. Nevada is a crossroads of America. What happens here is important to the whole nation. We are ā€œthe canary in the coal mine.ā€ This week Nevada will prove Trump is brilliantā€¦Nikki is notā€¦and the GOP presidential race is over.

And Nikki will be alone in a meaningless primary that awards no delegates. Sheā€™ll have to beat ā€œNone of the Aboveā€ on Tuesday. If she manages to do that, she will be awarded a grand total of 0 delegates. Smart, huh?

Nikki has no path to victory. And anyone with a brain (as opposed to a ā€œbirdbrainā€) has to ask one obvious questionā€¦

Why is Nikki still in the race?

The answers are pathetic and disgracefulā€¦because Nikki is backed by the corrupt Deep State; desperate Democrats trying to stop Trump; and a few delusional, establishment RINOS with ā€œTrump Derangement Syndrome.ā€

Nikki is fighting for bigger book deals, larger speaking fees, and maybe even a daytime talk show. But she sure isnā€™t fighting for GOP voters.

Nikki is never going to be the next president. But she is hoping to be the next Oprah.

Now you understand what drives Nikki and why she is still in the race.

And now you understand whatā€™s going to happen this week in Nevadaā€¦

For the third time in the past eight years, President Donald J. Trump is on his way to a landslide victory for the GOP presidential nomination.

And now you knowā€¦Nevada is Trump country!

Big Faniā€™s inner circle is now throwing her under the busā€¦

Now, a fourth co-defendant in this sham ā€œelection interferenceā€ case has called for Fani to be removed.

Fox News:

A fourth co-defendant in the Georgia case against former president Donald Trump has filed a motion for the court to disqualify embattled District Attorney Fani Willis.

Co-defendant David Shafer, who in 2020 served as the Georgia GOP Chairman and a GOP presidential elector for Georgia during the 2020 election, filed a motion in court Monday saying Willis has engaged in a ā€œpattern of prosecutorial, forensic misconductā€ which he says should disqualify not only her, but her entire office and prosecution staff.

Shaferā€™s motion follows co-defendant Michael Romanā€™s claims that Willis engaged in an ā€œimproperā€ relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade whom she hired to prosecute the sprawling racketeering case against Trump and asked the court to disqualify her from the case.

Willis on Friday responded to the allegations in a court filing and admitted to having a ā€œpersonalā€ relationship with Wade but denied any conflict of interest. She also argued that according to Georgia law, in order for a district attorney to be forcibly removed from a case, the conflict of interest has to be harmful to a defendantā€™s case.

No conflict of interest, eh? Nothing criminal happened? Alright, letā€™s break this down, shall we?

Big Fani came in like a wrecking ball and destroyed a marriage, then went on to not just lie about it but completely twist the timelineā€”which, by the way, is very important to this story. She brought her married beau on board, a DEI-type hire who had zero business handling the tasks he was given, and threw a ridiculous amount of money his way. Money that, surprise surprise, she ended up spending on herself. And the cherry on top of this crooked sundae? Their secret rendezvous took place in a ā€œsafe houseā€ funded by Georgiaā€™s taxpayers. After stirring up all this chaos, Big Fani had the audacity to stand in church and claim she was being targeted because of ā€œracism.ā€

Harry Litman just let slip that Big Fani is getting outside legal eagles to draft her court documents. It looks like Fani, much like her married beau Nathan, is another DEI hire whoā€™s out of her depth.

WHOOPSIE @harrylitman just admitted Fani Willis is getting help from ā€œoutside lawyersā€ to write her court filings pic.twitter.com/oKzNizxLwd

ā€” Julie Kelly šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø (@julie_kelly2) February 5, 2024

If Fani Willis is getting a helping hand from some behind-the-scenes lawyers, she must reveal who they are. There are likely all sorts of additional conflicts of interest we need to know about.

At this point, there are three words that we have for Fani:

Lock. Her. Up.

On December 11, 2023, Jack Smith asked the Supreme Court to expedite review of Trump's case through an extraordinary petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment.

In other words, Jack Smith wanted to bypass the normal procedures that govern appeals.

On December 22, 2023, the Supreme Court denied Jack Smith's petition.

In other words, the Supreme Court adhered to the normal procedures in the face of Jack Smith's attempt to bypass them.

The Supreme Court should do the same in the face of the D.C. Circuit's decision.

Otherwise, it is political.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

@RepMTG

The 3 no votes against impeaching Mayorkas were:

Mike Gallagher (WI-08)

Tom McClintock (CA-05)

Ken Buck (CO-04)

Blake Moore changed his vote no when asked by leadership for procedural reasons to make a motion to reconsider so that we can vote on impeachment again next week. We look forward to Leader Steve Scalise returning to vote yes and officially impeaching Secretary Mayorkas.

@LauraLoomer

If you think Ronna Romney is bad, wait till you learn about McCarthyā€™s lapdog Jessica Patterson who is panting and salivating at the thought of being co-chair of the RNC.

We cannot allow this to happen.

Jessica Patterson is also anti-Trump.I just hope this mess is cleaned up fast.

I am just so pissed off with how long this has taken.

Look how much time has been wasted.

SCOTUS is going to decide soon if they take Trump off the ballot.

This week could determine whether or not the country is over.

Thatā€™s how serious this is.

Not to sound like a defeatist, but this country might just be over by this time next week.

BREAKING:

Ronna Romneyā€™s chief of staff Mike Reed is resigning at the end of the month amid massive turmoil and looming bankruptcy of the party under Ronnaā€™s failed leadership.

This news comes just 1 day after Ronna Met with President Trump at Mar a Lago and Trump told Newsmax that Ronna understands her time has come.

Reed had served as chief of staff to Ronna at the RNC since Jan. 2022.

Ronna is going to be next!

I have been told that CAGOP Chair Jessica Patterson is trying to become co-chair.

We cannot allow that to happen under any circumstance whatsoever!
