Try to use your thinking not your emotions

There are 360 million people in the USA

Of those, 1/6th will have an interaction with the police during the year. Only 1 out of 6.

That is all interactions. In fact, 84% of the time people have an interaction with police is when they call the cops themselves.

Traffic accidents (leading cause of death of young people) where the police show up are an interaction. So is getting stopped for speeding, saving the little boy last week who fell through the ice in Milwaukee, responding to a burglary alarm you didn’t set right.

Try to look at facts and not knee jerk with an emotional response. We get it, you have been trained to knee jerk emotionally on nearly everything. But here we work to use critical thinking. Start with facts and analyze.

Only 1 out of 6 people will interact with a police officer this year. And 84% of the time it’s because that person called the cops themselves.
