What you say is true. But the fact remains they (the states) are ignoring other Amendments of due process and skipping straight to judgement. Paragraph 1 of the 14th does not have superiority over the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th Amendments BoRs. One can allege "insurection" but baring a conviction of the same, this entire shitshow is invalid. The SCOTUS should shut this down after oral arguments. You can't get to 5 if you haven't counted 1, 2, 3, 4 to beign with. There has been no "due process".
