I just tried to get my boomer friend to watch it and he's so against Putin he doesn't even want to. He claims Putin is an oligarch tyrant mafioso, everything he says is a lie to further his egomania, blah blah so I did some searches and found this story. It's 2/3rd gossip and speculation about his love life but the money bits are curious. Anybody have refutations? I would assume the sentiment is widely-held by boomer /gen X and has been deeply woven into them with decades of MSM, if we could destroy this narrative (if it's false), could open up some more eyes
