And?
Anon wonders how many of the problems we're facing today are derived from modern science more or less showing that the ancient method of maintaining "pure" bloodlines and passing power down from generation to generation based upon exclusive in-groups actually causes ability to decay rather than maintaining strength, and so those who hold power under such systems would have a vested interest in capturing and deliberately falsifying/doctoring how research is conduced and what is acceptable to be published.

Anon takes particular interest in Alexander the Great, and his refusal to hand power off directly, but rather to force any would-be successors to win power by their own merits.
Can the mind comprehend it's own non-existence? Anon posits that if such a thing is not possible, then it would be all the more important to ensure one is making good decisions about how they live.
