Clouds are not fixed, even when there is little wind. Find wind speed over NK on this date, for 6500ft (the low level clouds) and 6500-20k feet (the mid-level clouds) and above 20k. You're also assuming absence of clouds above/behind plane.
If photo on left is earliest of the two, plane comes from left and is making a wide turn.
