Mr. Biden: All of us should reject the dangerous statements made by the previous president, that invited Russia to invade our NATO allies if they weren't paying up…this is an outrageous thing for a president to say. I can't fathom; from Truman on, they're rolling over in their graves hearing this.
Mr. Biden: We don't know exactly what happened, but there is no doubt that the death of Navalny was a consequence of something that Putin and his thugs did.
Mr. Biden: There is no nuclear threat to the people of America, or anywhere else in the world, with what Russia is doing at the moment…anything that they will do, relates to satellites in space, and damaging those satellites, potentially…there is no evidence that they have made a decision to go forward with doing anything in space either.
Reporter: An FBI informant at the center of the impeachment inquiry into you has been indicted for allegedly lying. Your reaction to that, and should the inquiry be dropped?
Mr. Biden: He is lying, and it should be dropped. It's been an outrageous effort from the beginning. We did nothing; no, I'm serious.
Question: Did I text you, asking you if you knew who I could get an affidavit from about the affair [Willis & Wade] and you responded, 'No. No one would freely burn that bridge".
Bradley: Yes, I do see that.
He answered a few questions after speaking about Navalny.
Jean-Pierre: [Biden] is making today's visit [East Palestine] at the invitation of the mayor, to see the progress delivered through our whole of government response, and to reaffirm his commitment to supporting the community as it moves forward.
[she always makes sure to say 'at the invitation of the mayor', as if he was just recently invited]
Reporter: What is the status of the drinking water now?
Regan [EPA Administrator, White House press conference]: There are weekly tests done at the municipal level, by the State of Ohio, as well as continual samples from private wells, all of which are getting a clean bill of health from the state.
Regan: We have over forty-five thousand air quality monitoring tests, strategically done, around the area. Over a hundred and fifteen million different data points that suggest there was never any concerns for air pollution levels over safe levels…shortly after the derailment…we went inside over six hundred homes to do indoor air assessments, and determine, even shortly after the controlled burn, that there were no elevated levels. We believe that the science and the technology prove that the indoor air quality is safe…most of these contaminants, during the controlled burn, dissipated immediately, during the controlled burn.
Reporter: Can you help us under stand why it took so long for [Biden] to make this trip?
Regan: [Biden] has been laser-focused since day one…and decided to strategically visit and engage when he thought the time was right.
