A bikini model and actor who starred briefly in the hit horror film Wolf Creek is facing serious child sex abuse charges following her arrest for the alleged sexual abuse of a teen boy and exploitation material allegedly found on her phone.

Megan Skye Blancada, a young mum and model, appeared at Adelaide Magistrate Court on Monday charged with the sexual abuse of a boy under the age of 16 and possession of child exploitation material.

Police alleged the offending occurred between July 30, 2021 and November 6, 2023, in Adelaide’s outer north, court documents show.

In online profiles, Ms Blancada, 34, advertises herself as a fitness model and advertises her roles in films such as Hey Hey Its Esther and Wolf Creek.

Her Facebook posts also show off a glamorous lifestyle, with multiple posts showing off her bikini modelling jobs.

In a post from August 30, 2023, she shows a Jadore dress and writes: “Attending a red carpet event in Sydney definitely in a need of a dress from @dressforanight and they did not disappoint.”

Unless Ukraine obtains a full NATO membership, it will have no other choice but to develop or somehow else obtain an arsenal of atomic weapons, according to MP Alexey Goncharenko.

The Ukrainian lawmaker pressed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the issue at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, wondering what other options Kiev has against Moscow, besides “becoming a member of NATO,” allying with a “nuclear power” or “restoring our nuclear potential” – but the American diplomat dodged the question.

“Once again I will say directly and openly: I support the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine. And I believe that this is our only option for survival,” Goncharenko wrote in a Telegram post on Sunday evening, noting that Blinken did not answer his question.

The lawmaker went on to argue that “if NATO does not want to accept us,” then “nuclear rockets must be made,” insisting that Kiev would gladly “endure” any potential sanctions for the breach of the non-proliferation treaty.

“We don’t need a thousand. We need 20,” he claimed, without elaborating how exactly he expects Kiev to obtain the nukes.

US Senator Lindsey Graham has claimed that the passing of the opposition figure Alexey Navalny in a Siberian prison was not an accident, before medical examiners have determined the exact cause of death.

Navalny, 47, collapsed during his daily walk on Friday and was later pronounced dead. The cause of death is still being established, but Western reactions “once again demonstrated their hypocrisy, cynicism and lack of principles,” the Foreign Ministry in Moscow said. On Sunday, Senator Graham, who on several occasions called for the assassination of President Vladimir Putin, went as far as to pin the blame on the Russian leader personally.

“Let’s make Russia a state sponsor of terrorism under US law. Let’s make them pay a price for killing Navalny,” Graham told CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday, claiming that he already discussed the idea with two Democratic senators.

Moscow previously said that any effort to blacklist Russia as a supporter of terrorism would mark a “point of no return” in relations with the US, asking Washington to tread carefully. US President Joe Biden also signaled opposition to any such label, but back in 2021 he threatened Russia with “devastating consequences” should Navalny die in prison.

“President Biden told Putin, if something happens to Navalny, you’re going to pay a price. President Biden, I agree with you, the price they should pay is to make Russia a state sponsor of terrorism,” Graham said.

Currently only Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria are on Washington’s list of state sponsors of terrorism, and a bill seeking to add Russia to the list could be introduced within a week, Graham claimed.

However, all previous attempts to push through such an initiative flopped. If ever signed into law, the measure would further cut already virtually nonexistent US defense and technology exports to Russia and impose additional financial restrictions atop an existing pile of sanctions. It would also eliminate Russia’s sovereign immunity in Washington’s eyes, allowing the families of victims of alleged “state-sponsored” terrorism to sue Russia in US courts.

"We're all devastated, we're all mentally stressed out. It's really hard to comprehend."

Facing escalating tribal fighting, Enga Province was put into lockdown for several months last year.

Police had been trying to stop the supply of firearms and ammunition into the region, which was supercharging the deadly violence.

It is understood this tribal fight involves the same tribes that killed more than 60 people last year.
